The unit was in a very good location. Enjoyed sitting on the south facing balcony in the sun. Checkin and checkout was easy. Internet worked very well. Kitchen was lacking a few things such as a cutting board Overall a good place for an extended stay.

Great stay, great location

We had a great few days stay in Nice here. The place was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was fab, read some reviews about the noise but we found no problems of the sort. Within walking distance of the old town but so peaceful.

Thank you for your review. Upon your arrival the bed was made up with clean linens and fresh towels were duly provided. We do note your stay was two weeks and a mid-stay change of linen is not included as this is self-catering accommodation - although we are happy to offer this option upon guests’ request. To clarify, the cleaning fee, far from being an ‘add-on’, is in fact clearly disclosed upfront in the advertised rate; also, the price breakdown for your stay is clearly indicated before booking the property. The cleaning fee contributes towards the cost of cleaning after your stay. We are disappointed you did not enjoy your stay at the property. Please be assured we strive to provide great service to our guests, and we were glad we were able to resolve the issue of your unauthorised TV subscription at the start of your trip. We wish you happy travels.

Nice little place

Not much storage, hot water ran out quick and took a long time to heat up. Bedroom is Very small, tough to move around. Road out front is very busy and can be loud with the door open, but the door is solid and kept the noise down when closed. Location is perfect! Close to modern art museum ( closed for renovations when we were there) and old nice, which is a great neighborhood.

Beautiful apartment, unfortunately traffic noise was constant, but didn’t interfere with our stay. Having more information on directions from the train station would be useful as we couldn’t get a taxi & had to rely on google maps to walk there.

Très joli appartement

Very nice apartment, in a very pleasant building, and good location. Perfect for easy transport bus and Tram. The little garden in front of the property is absolutely charming, I appreciated sitting on the balcony , in spite of the noise of a busy street.Minor worry for the check-out . . . even the day before, we had no information for check-out. I had to try to contact both the owner and person in charge locally, through the booking-system the night before (a few hours before quitting the flat) to know how to do with keys and leaving. A bit of stress.

Cimiez, Nice

The location is excellent; close to la Place Garibaldi, le Vieux Nice, and both tram transit lines. The kitchen was utilitarian; we used it only to make coffee in the morning. The bed still creaks, but if you sleep on the side next to the window. there is no noise at all. The young lady who met us had limited English, and French skills, so the walkthrough was pretty perfunctory and lasted5 minutes.

very practical location

The appartment had everything needed for a nice stay, the necessary equipment was available and functioning. A large enough balcony with view into a well kept garden allowed us to have breakast outside (if it was not too cold). Place Garibaldi, the Old Town and the Golden Quarter all were in walking distance. On the other hand, the street is quite noisy and in about 150m distance in direction of Place Garibaldi, there was a large bilding site aound the Art Museum, which does not seem to be finished within the next few monthes. Anyhow, we were content with our stay in Nice and happy to have been visiting all the interesting places we have seen before.

Nice Apartment

The Apartment was superbly located but in need of updating inside. The size was of the apartment was good but the layout meant that it was not easy to manouvre around the bed or access the wardrobes. The bathroom was small and the shower cubilcle was extremely tiny and although we are reasonable small people you could not turn or was easily in it. The kitchen was adequate as was the lounge area, although we felt the Bedroom would have been better located in the lounge area.

Location, location, location

My husband and I spent 8 nights in this clean and functional apartment and found the location to be perfect for seeing Nice. The apartment decor is a bit stark, but it’s bright and clean, and everything works. The large sunny balcony overlooks a pleasant green space (and then the road, which is noisy at peak times). The apartment itself was very quiet, we rarely heard neighbours. There were no problems accessing the apartment and the friendly manager helped us arrange transport to the airport. The longer we stayed the more we realized how well located we were. We like to walk, and within a safe, pleasant and short walk we reached the old town, the port, and the wonderful promenade de Paillon park / walkway, as well as many good restaurants, cafes and bakeries. (A lovely local restaurant Le 111 is steps away, visible from the balcony and is a great dinner spot). A longer walk (20 minutes maybe) got us into the Place Massena and the pedestrian shopping streets, and promenade des Anglais. The Hop on hop off tour bus stops only meters from the apartment, across from the Tete Carré building and got us up to the Cimiez area and to the town of Villefranche sur Mer when our feet finally wore out. A full length mirror anywhere in the apartment would be a nice addition, as would a floor lamp in the living room, but these quibbles aside, we'd certainly recommend the apartment for a visit to Nice.

Apartment Needs Updating

I did address these things to the owner who said they would be visiting the property soon and would check things out. It is centrally located, which was about the only plus, but unfortunately this little apartment is showing wear and seems to just be worn out. As so many have mentioned, the bed squeaks terribly whenever you move or get up, waking your partner constantly. I thought for sure, based on those many comments, it would’ve been fixed before we arrived. It looks like the photos but all furnishings are old, little chairs in the living room are only about 2 feet off the ground, and couch cushions won’t stay in place & pull forward when sitting on it. The tea pot was corroded and rusted inside and I asked the property manager to replace it and she said she’d send someone to clean it (I told her not to bother). After that she wasn’t responsive at all. Cleaning person met us to check us in and spoke no English and could only point at things for us. Photo shows a stack of fluffy bath towels but only one set was left and another wet set hanging on a rack outside. When I asked about additional towels for a six day stay I was told there was an additional charge but when I mentioned the photo, suddenly there were extras under the bed. We moved to a nicer hotel the last three days of our stay at our expense. Very disappointed in this VRBO property.

Dear Toni, I would like to reiterate that I was saddened to receive your comments, as we do strive hard to ensure our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay in the apartment. I am sorry some of the furnishings were not to your preference; they are of good quality, and we also ensure any upgrades or repairs are made in a timely manner. Regarding the towels, we cannot provide unlimited numbers, but we did accommodate your request promptly. I do value your feedback and will address areas of concern. Thank you again for staying with us.
