Thank you for your feedback, it is obviously greatly appreciated and everyone is entitled to review as they please.. I feel I need to answer and provide useful feedback from my side and clarify some points: Firstly, the property management company we used for summer 2023 was on their first season and unfortunately last, as situation such as this is not acceptable. We have rented our house since 2007 and I truly mean it. 1. There is no excuse, that you only had one toiletpaper roll and no soap on arrival, as each bathroom should have had one roll along with soap. Also, no excuse that the door handle (or two, as you said) were loose, these should have been checked and fixed before your arrival. One point to the property management group's defence is that the previous group was very happy about their stay and didn't mention anything, so both the door handle and the shower went unnoticed, but this not an excuse nevertheless. Regarding the shower you are referring to, it is/was for the extra 6th bedroom (and bathroom) which is not left open for each group (unless the bedroom is needed), but since there was a group of 10, we left it open for your benefit of having an extra bathroom. Again, the issue with the shower should have been checked by the property manager and fixed before your arrival. Now, both of these issues were attended to immediately. I spoke to you on late Saturday evening just after you checked-in and again on Sunday. These were fixed on Monday (as it was impossible to get someone in to repair things on Sunday) Regarding the pool, we spoke about this on the phone, om Saturday when you checked-in and you were happy about it. I feel it's important to elaborate the situation. There was a one kid's toy on the bottom of the pool when you arrived, but otherwise, it was very clean, as was also confirmed by you on the phone. As I as explained on the phone, the pool was cleaned on Friday afternoon instead of Saturday afternoon (you checked-in on Sat afternoon), as the pool person was unable to come on Saturday afternoon due to an emergency. So the pool was clean, apart from one kid toy on the bottom, as the previous group's kids had a swim in the morning before departure and left it there. It's quite disheartening to read your claim that the pool was dirty and especially after you were happy when we spoke and I explained the situation. Regarding the rubbish and bins...the whole recycling was explained to you, as this is the way rubbish is now collected in northern Tuscany (Garfagnana) and this is the only way. There are no big bins to dump everything and therefore there is no point providing them, as they simply won't get collected. Items must be put in the correct smaller bins (which are/were all in the kitchen) and placed outside the door every morning when that particular item is collected (bio waste, general waste, bottles etc.) Regarding parking, the village car has served each and every guest for 17 years and I certainty didn't advice you to park illegally, as a matter of fact you never even asked/mentioned this when we spoke or Sunday/Monday when I followed up that everything was fixed and you were happy. I'm extremely sorry your holiday was ruined. I tried to attend and fix everything you mentioned and requested as soon as was possible, but obviously it wasn't enough. Regards, Jukka
