Horse show

This was a great property to come back to after a long day at a horse show. Nice and refreshing to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean.

Great location

Great location, beautiful property, aged furnishings but clean. The only bad were the beds...worse than any roadside economy motel I've ever stayed. Old hard spring mattresses. Aweful. I dreaded going to bed every night. Thankfully waking to the ocean sounds made it worthwhile.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Definitely needs upgrading regarding furniture and lack of any decor. Sofa had seen better days and was very uncomfortable. Couldn't sit on outside back patio due to 2 large storage containers and dirty old plastic table and chairs. The outdoor door frame in the back room looked like it had been beaten by hammers. What a shame....The employees at Stubbs were great to work with!

Hard to review

It's hard to review this property because we didn't stay there. On the day we were supposed to check in, we were notified that the deck (which was the selling point of the property) was under repair and couldn't be used. Ultimately, we ended up with a much nicer property for the same price. After some initial confusion trying to get hold of us, the property management team was excellent about accommodating us, so I'd give our interactions with them 4 stars (3 for communication, 5 for check-in).

Poor Property Management

Two days after check in notified that the pool next to our room would be closed for maintenance. Although unhappy, we didn't complain until the construction noise started before 8am. It was right next to our condo. We had to keep windows closed due to dust & noise. It was loud & warm. We tried to get away to the clubhouse but it had been closed also, without notice. We were only offered a $100 future credit. With so many places to stay, would recommend you select somewhere else. Also, beware of longer balcony it is in poor condition and seemed unsafe(cracks, movement, etc) Don't let poor management ruin your vacation, pick another location.

Hello Michele, As soon as we received notification from the HOA that the pool was going to be closed, we notified you. We had no prior knowledge that this was going to happen with such short notice. There is another pool in the complex that was open. Unfortunately, we have no control over the HOA and their construction or closures. We have had no prior complaints about the balcony, but will definitely have our maintenance team check it out.

Ocean view ruined by deck construction above

The property itself was great at Seascape Sur. This was our second time staying in the complex, both times with an ocean view. The week started out great, then the first full day there was loud banging above us, all day. Stubbs Property managers, who we rented through, were unaware of it, and when they looked into it, said it was deck maintenance above us and would last 2 days total of our 7 there. Unfortunately for us, 2 days turned into 5 days, so most of the time we were there, was loud banging, debris on our deck from above, view of workers on ladders, instead of the ocean. We had to leave every day, all day. Not what we paid for. After many complaints to Stubbs, they offered a 10% discount. Not great but something I guess. We would have much rather had the ocean view and no hammering. Not sure if we would deal with them again, but the personnel we dealt with were good at communication and apologized but that was as far as it went. Nice property unless someone’s deck above is being worked on, which, in our opinion, will be happening more as the units age and deteriorate.

However this particular property is need to renovation and update in technology. Kitchen drawers were broken and televisions did not have any way to stream netflix,etc. I would stay in the same location but not in this unit.
