The apartment was fantastic. The location was excellent, within a quick walk of several metro stations. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, located across the street from a charming park. My kids played in the park daily! Check in was smooth, communication with the owner was flawless. I cannot wait to return!

Family visit

Maria was great, we arrived early and she made arrangements for us to check in earlier than normal. This apartment is very close to our son and his family which makes setting our grandchildren easy and enabled us to have our two young granddaughters stay overnight

Respite in Madrid

The property was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for me and my adult son. The neighborhood was very convenient with food stores around to get the necessities and it was a short Uber ride to the main part of the city.

Excellent all around!

The apartment is very comfortable and seems newly renovated. There are excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, and the neighborhood is quiet, clean, and seems very safe. The subways are close by. The host is very helpful. All around it is an excellent property. We highly recommend it.

Lovely apartment, great location

Very nice apartment, well furnished and with all facilities we required. Comfortable bedrooms, and great kitchen/diner. Overall location is good, with a car park 30 seconds walk away. Centre of city is a pleasant 30-40 minutes walk, or with many options for scooter/bike rental. Good selection of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We were initially welcomed by Maria, who was very helpful.

Thee generations stayed at this lovely updated and renovated 3 full bedrooms apartment in a central area of Madrid near subways and bus. Perfect to go about your errands and nightly outings in safe neighborhood. Easy to get in and out of. The flat is spacious and offers home away from home feel. Very responsive owner makes for very comfortable stay as well. Would highly recommend and consider staying there again.

Comfortable for 6 people

We are traveling with a large group and this perfectly accommodated us. The place was clean and had a washing machine (we bought our own detergent). The host is very helpful and responsive. We walked to the Royal palace and main city streets. I highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

Maria was a lovely host, very helpful and flexible. Her property was perfect for our family of 6, and we were very comfortable there. We loved the tall window shutters/doors and the ability to have fresh air flow throughout. Maria prepared a book of local resources that proved very helpful, too. The property is close to several shops: restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and even an urgent care are all within a 10 minute walk or less. We were delighted to find such a fabulous gem and hope to return in the future!

Great apartment, amazing location

The apartment is exactly as described (clean, cool, lovely interiors) and in a perfect location, especially with young kids - for example, there are many playgrounds within a 5min walk, two of them just across the street! Chamberí is such a lovely area: Close to the city centre but quieter, more family-friendly, and less touristy. Amazing restaurants and bars at every corner. When we come back to Madrid, this apartment will for sure be our first choice as a place to stay. You should consider it too!

A week in Madrid visiting a daughter in college

We rented this apartment for the second time. It is well appointed with 3 full bedrooms and 2 full baths exactly as described. Wash machine available, no stove but range is available for cooking. All you need for a confortable stay. Host is very responsive and accommodates requests when possible. The unit is on the corner of the building, on the 2nd floor (US) with street traffic and some lively outdoors bars close by (bring earplugs)- Overall a good centrally located apartment.

Visiting our son's family

The space was exactly as portrayed online. The one reason we booked was that there were enough bedrooms for us to have our granddaughters spend the night with us a couple of times during our stay. Plus it was only 3 blocks from our son's apartment. We were close to the Metro stations and it was close to Market as well a 24 hour supermarket. There were several Express markets as well. Maria was very accommodating in getting us checked in when our flight was early and we arrived almost 2 hours earlier than planned. She had Christina meet us almost when we arrived at the apartment. This was the most seamless stay we've had, we would stay there again.

Location convenient and not too touristy

My family (wife, me, two teenagers) stayed here in the fall of 2023. The apartment was exactly as described. The unit has 3 bedrooms, each with a bed that sleeps 2. There is a washing machine and cooking supplies. The host was out of town when we arrived, but he contacted me ahead of time to find out when I'd be arriving so he could have someone else meet us and check us in, and that person was waiting for us when we arrived from the Metro. Checkout was easy too, we just had to leave the place tidy, make sure the windows were shut, and leave the keys inside. Chamberí was a really nice location because it has the feel of being its own neighborhood with its own character. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the neighborhood at all levels of price and quality. Also plenty of grocery stores, pharmacies, shops, and anything else you might want or need. The apartment is also less than half a mile from 4 different Metro stations, meaning you can get anywhere on the network, including the RENFE stations, with no more than one Metro change. And some of the Madrid sights are walkable. Admittedly, the apartment is noisy most nights particularly when the nearby bar is open and with the apartment on the first (Americans would call it second) floor. But nothing a pair of earplugs didn't solve. The back bedroom (with an en suite bathroom) is quieter since it is not street-facing. Overall, we enjoyed the property.

This is a nice place to stay in a nice residential area that isn’t too far from the sites. We had a great time and Maria was very helpful with our arrival. If you’re an international traveler you’ll definitely want to bring your own shampoo, toiletries, adapters, etc as there isn’t anything of that sort available. But there are nearby stores to shop for basics.
