Velkommen til Pelican View beliggende i Crystal Beach-området langs Scenic Highway 98 i Destin. Denne 1 BR / 1 BA Condo er beliggende på 2. sal i Grand Caribbean East og kan prale med fortryllende udsigt over Den Mexicanske Golf og fællesskabet pool dæk! Sidde udenfor og se de solrige blå himmel falde ind i en smuk kombination af lilla, orange og rosa som solen sætter over vandet.

Det rummelige og lyse soveværelse har en queensize seng og fladskærms-tv med adgang til badeværelset. Badeværelset kan også nås fra hallen, hvor der er bygget i køjer, perfekt til børn. Det åbne opholdsstue har en sovesofa, fladskærms-tv, lille spiseplads og dobbeltdør adgang til altanen med udsigt over poolen og har udsigt til stranden. For nylig ombygget, har det fuldt udstyrede køkken rustfrit apparater, granit bordplader og en morgenmadsbar for ekstra siddepladser!

Grand Caribbean East har en onsite pool, boblebad, community grill med picnic bord og onsite parkering. Det bliver ikke meget bedre end at bo og lege på Pelican View Condo nær alt, hvad der sker i Destin.

Great Vacation

Great location

Great location for a family trip and a quick walk across the road to the public beach access. Although, not super clean and did not have some of the necessary items to stay at this place (i.e. parking pass), overall was a great stay and good location. One thing though, my mother and father stayed right upstairs and was 10x as nice and clean. Would likely stay at this place again!

Unit comes with beach equipment, toys, umbrellas, chairs, etc. the unit is on the second floor and is in front of the pool. Access to the unit is in the back parking lot and there is no elevator, just stairs. Unit was clean and did the job as the majority of our time was exploring and being at the beach.

Easily sleeps 6 as bunk beds are a great added touch. Location provides a nice walking area and is close to some retail and churches. A new mattress and vacuum cleaner would be a good addition.

Amazing Location!

The property was just as described! Literally across the street from the beach, and when it got too hot, the pool with shaded areas was just right! We will be back for sure!!

Cable company were changing out boxes in the Condos and it would have been nice to have been informed about that before hand. Drains in bathroom sink and tub did not drain well at all. Beach chairs were old and rusty and needs to be replaced. Location was perfect and overall the stay was ok.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was nice. We believe the management company was unorganized. They threaten to fine you if the discount card in the unit is missing when you leave. Our unit did not have a discount card upon arrival, had to call about that. They threaten a fine if you do not have your dishes washing in the dishwasher when leaving. We could not get our dishwasher to work, had to call about that. They charge $170 cleaning fee to clean up after you leave, even though you take out the trash and get dishes in dishwasher. However, it would have been even better if they would have cleaned the unit prior to our arrival. Dust on surfaces, hair in tub, sink and bathroom floor. Hairs laying around make us very unhappy. We cleaned it up, as we had to. We may recommend this unit as it was modern and a nice location. If renting this unit we would advise to confirm with management that it gets cleaned prior to arrival and that they keep up their end of the bargain. They delivered the discount tag, but it was too late for us to use it, as we had a short stay.

The only complaint I have was no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. The can opener and some of the utensils were rusted. The broom that was provided was broken. I contacted management with no response, so I went and bought one so I could keep the floors swept. Overall it was a wonderful experience because of the location to the beach. Would recommend staying there again.

Great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! Even though the beach was across the street, it was still easily accessible and just a short walk. The ocean water was the clearest that I have ever seen and the sand was so soft and fluffy. The pool was clean and we didn’t have to share it with a ton of people. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back for a return trip.

Ideal spot and comfortable

Super place with easy access to the beach. Condo is in good condition and had a small need for maintenance and property company responded quickly and fixed the trouble immediate (shower drain). Will be visiting next year & booking here.

Our favorite Destin condo

We absolutely love this unit and the Grand Caribbean East property. This is our second time staying in this unit and we won't stay anywhere else in Destin. The unit is beautiful and cozy yet spacious and clean and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The balcony overlooks the pool and street traffic, providing an amazing view of the area. Since the unit is across from the beach you can also see and hear the water from the balcony. This unit has quick easy access to the beach and walking trail that is steps from the condo. No car is needed to go to the beach or to go for a walk/run. The property is also close to the main highway for quick and easy access to shopping and other Destin activities. This unit is also very kid friendly. We had our 4-year-old and 22-month-old with us and they loved this unit as well. They had a blast playing on the balcony and watching all the people and the sightseeing helicopter that flew by many times a day. The on sight amenities are also amazing. There is a pool that I've mentioned and a hot tub, grills, picnic tables, and easy parking. We highly recommend this unit.

A little disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was fairly nice and clean but there were a few things that could have been updated/ changed (bedroom tv is tiny, small appliances were very dated). Half of the balcony patio furniture (2 chairs) was held together with black electrical tape and the other half (wicker chair) the bottom was busted out of and would be dangerous to sit on. On day 2 of our stay the pool and hot tub were drained to be refinished without any notice to us. It was a very loud process most of the day so we weren't able to enjoy our view or the pool/hot tub. I sent a text curious if I had missed some sort of notification that the pool and hot tub would not be in use during our stay with no response.

Great location to the beach

Perfect location, just walk across the street and you're on the beach. My Vacation Haven needs to throw out all of the decorations, mattresses, patio furniture, dining table and chairs and kitchen utensils and gadgets and start over. Looks like they did their shopping at Goodwill or a local thrift store, so everything is tacky looking, mismatched and/or broken. The wicker furniture on the patio is rotted and broken, the metal chairs on the patio are rusted - so we stood and enjoyed the view - just couldn't sit on anything without fear of falling through it or breaking. The couch and arm chair look new and were comfortable, but not to sleep on - needs a new sleeper mattress. Forget getting an accurate code for the pool - the ones listed on the app DO NOT WORK, and no one bothered to ever send a correct one even after asking. There is a binder in the unit that evidently belonged to an owner from 10 years ago, so nothing in it is current. There was no parking pass in the unit and had to wait for a "runner" to bring one the following day. The location and the sheets for the beds were the only high quality things inside the unit. The potential is there for this unit to be better - but the company that owns it will have to cough up some money to make it better and higher end. If you don't mind the yard sale look on the inside, you'll be fine.
