This was an amazing house to stay in. The kitchen had everything you might need, The furnishings were comfortable- not trying to be over the top like the Inn at Little Washington. Instead, it was a place you can immediately feel at home in and relax.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! ❤️ It truly means a lot to us to hear that you felt at home and were able to relax and enjoy your stay. We put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable, welcoming space with everything you might need, while keeping it warm and authentic rather than overly formal. We’re especially touched by your comparison to the Inn at Little Washington—it’s lovely to be close to such a special place while still having a home where you can truly unwind. We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime!

Wonderful trip! The host/home owner was so nice and so helpful. She gave detailed instructions on everything before we got there which made the entire stay go smoothly. The cottage was roomy, clean and more than we even expected. Oxana saw us outside and when she saw we had 2 toddlers, she showed us toys she had available for them to play with. She really goes above and beyond for guests. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay

The house is wonderfully located, a short walk to the Inn at Little Washington, and a reasonably short drive to Shenandoah National Park. It is extremely well-equipped, and while it has some of the quirks of old houses, we had a good, comfortable stay.
