 Placeret direkte bag den historiske Officer's Row (John Mellancamp er vores nabo!), denne stille del af Tybee ligger tæt på fyret og North Beach.
Stueplan, indhegnet gård, høje lofter og ekstra store vinduer giver tonsvis af naturligt lys til at hælde i. Dette hjem er blevet helt renoveret og designet. Huset tilbyder nu 2 fulde bade og en ekstra "vand closet!"
Fuld af kunst fra lokale kunstnere og vintage fund, komfortable møbler og bedste af alle de ekstra store screenede veranda med gyngestole. Virkelig en sydlig charmer af et hjem! Dette hjem er et historisk hjem, og boligen har tilføjet et ekstra komplet bad til i alt 2 1/2 bade! Endnu et unikt træk ved vores hjem! Dette er halvdelen af duplexet med Enlisted Men's Mess Hall på den anden side. Begge sider er stille og har private / separate indgange. Har du brug for plads til en stor familie? Lej begge sider!

We really enjoyed staying at Screened Inn. The online description is very accurate, but it doesn't say just how cool the accessories and decorations are in the place. The whole experience felt very authentic to the time frame of the property. We loved the front porch and spent a good bit of time there. The beach access isn't "typical" but walking through the secret passway felt like a grand adventure. Dealing with Mermaid Cottages was the easiest communication with property managers I've ever experienced. They were available on the spot, courteous, helpful and so polite. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Tybee stay

Spacious, classy appointments and great location

This place is well adorned, with plenty of bathrooms for a family of various sizes. Comfortable, classic, with great property management and it's own secret path to the beach. On the north side of Tybee, easy access on and off the island and an almost private beach just south of the fort.

Perfect stay for a relaxing gals weekend. The house was impeccably clean and the beds so comfy (and I am picky about beds!). Amazing beach access. Will come again!

Another great stay at Screened Inn

We knew this would also be a great chance to bring along the family dog as well after we stayed with Mermaid Cottages at this location Teo years ago. Perfect size and layout for our three boys and us. Great location as a quick walk from the least crowded parts of the beach on the north end of Tybee. You will love it.

Nostalgic gem in Tybee

This was a precious property that reminded me of going to my grandmothers home. It was beautifully restored and full of character. Close to park, beach, bingo 😂 and could walk to the Post Theatre. We will be back!
