    This was our second time here and we were just as happy this time around such a home from home place

    This was our second time here and we were just as happy this time around such a home from home place everything is there for home comforts. Is suitable for most ages and is close to some shops but need to travel a little bit to get to shopping and entertainment. Overall a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended 🤩

    Tucked away off the main road, Swallows Barn is a fantastic base for a Cornwall stay.

    Tucked away off the main road, Swallows Barn is a fantastic base for a Cornwall stay. It is spacious and converted to a good standard whilst retaining its natural charm. Two good sized bedrooms with comfy beds, spacious lounge and dining with a small but well equipped kitchen. The barn sits in a peaceful rural location with outdoor seating and views across the fields. I would certainly stay here again.

    Loved this cottage, it was so comfortable and cosy and I loved the decor.

    Loved this cottage, it was so comfortable and cosy and I loved the decor. The view across the fields watching the pheasants each morning was lovely. The cottage was so well equipped and had everything that you needed. The location is right off the beaten track and so peaceful just how we like it. The welcome cream tea and bottle of wine was a really nice touch too....

    Absolute tranquility and within easy access of both the north and south coast of Cornwall for plenty

    Absolute tranquility and within easy access of both the north and south coast of Cornwall for plenty of sight-seeing. The layout of the barn is super and we loved sitting outside in the evenings - a lovely view of the countryside. It is well equipped and even games and DVDs for children. We highly recommend.

    Excellent location.

    Excellent location. Lovely barn with cot/highchair and a range of toys, books and games to keep our 3 and 1 year old girls entertained. Lovely welcome gifts of scones, cream and jam for us and gingerbread men for the children. Milk, tea coffee and sugar also fab and rare! Owners daughter was a fantastic help with a couple of issues we had. I would say a stair gate between kitchen and sitting room would have been helpful too as having a baby that wants to explore but not yet able to negotiate a couple of steps on her own was a bit tricky when one of us was trying to do cooking, chores etc and the other playing with our eldest. Would certainly recommend and visit again!

    The owners were friendly and welcomed us with a cream tea and gingerbread men for the children.

    The owners were friendly and welcomed us with a cream tea and gingerbread men for the children. We were provided with a cot and a highchair and the cottage had lots and lots of toys. Everything was very clean and well cared for. The cottage is well located in beautiful scenery with supermarkets nearby and all the highlights of south west Cornwall within easy reach.

    We had an amazing time at Swallows Barn.

    We had an amazing time at Swallows Barn. Our 11 month old was perfectly happy with the free addition of a cot and high chair. Very well situated to access all ‘attractions’, but still quiet and peaceful. Beautiful converted barn and we loved the decor and the garden, especially with that view! Geoff and his daughter were very welcoming and we hope to return again.
