We had an excellent week at Rancho Los Milagros. The house was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 10. We loved hanging out on the porch and swimming in the river. Brooks was so easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. We loved Abiquiu. Highlights included hiking at Ghost Ranch and Plaza Blanca , the Georgia O'Keeffe home tour (need to book way ahead. Thanks for the tip, Brooks!), driving the Taos High Road (with lunch at Sugar Nymphs), the rodeo in Los Alamos, swimming in Abiquiu Lake, fly fishing in El Vado, and dinner at El Farolito in El Rito. We'll definitely be back and will only stay at Rancho Los Milagros! Thank you Brooks.

This house and working with our hosts may have been the best Verb experience we have ever had. From the very beginning, the fast and clear communication with Brooks was amazing. The house, amenities, property and location were beyond our expectations and we are excited to return again!

Great getaway!

What a beautiful and relaxing place. So good we want to visit again! We had quiet, cool nights and beautiful bird-song filled mornings and great adventures in the local area during the day. It was fantastic.

We loved our stay in this elegant and comfortable home. Everything was as described. Brooks was a fantastic host who made us feel welcome and she was flexible with our arrival and departure time, which is always appreciated. The home was the perfect place for us to gather quietly for Thanksgiving and we enjoyed walking and hiking locally as well as the proximity to Santa Fe.The home had more than we needed, was well appointed, warm and comfortable. We hope to return one day!

An Incredible Stay

The home is infinately more amazing than it looks online. The area has limitless possibilities for discovery. If this property is available, don't think twice about booking it!

Spectacular

The pictures do not do it justice! We had a wonderful stay in this spacious home. Excellent communication with the host. Cannot beat this location for views and hiking. Would stay again in a heartbeat, do not hesitate to book!

Perfect for large families

This property is amazing and has plenty of space to accommodate a large family. Everyone had their own space to relax and cool nooks to read and enjoy views, there were spacious areas to gather to talk and eat together.Brooks the owner was very responsive and had great suggestions for the area. Don’t hesitate book this unique property.

Clean and spacious!

House is even larger than it appears in photos. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space as well as places to congregate. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. It was fun to feed the horses too! Highly recommend!!

Enchanted New Mexico Hideaway

We had a great time staying at the property. Opening the front door was a minor issue, so I notified the owner. She was a pleasure to work with and responded to our inquiries promptly. The house and the surrounding area delighted and enchanted us. I would book this property again without hesitation. I highly recommend it!

Awesome house

We loved the Casa de Milagros house! It was so comfortable, beautiful and welcoming. Our group of 6 had plenty of space so everyone could relax and breathe and just enjoy the beauty and expansiveness of it all. We could gather and cook together, have group conversations in so many bc settings, feed the sweet rescue horses and enjoy the lovely outdoors. The Chama River sparkled behind us and we were close to Bodes for anything c we wanted or needed! It was idyllic!

Our family has been renting homes for reunions in special places for the last half decade. This spectacular property was everyone’s (ages 80’s to 5 year old) by far. The adobe ranch house is lovely. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath and is beautifully appointed. The living room was perfect for evenings of story telling and a cozy fire. The huge kitchen made meal prep easy and fun as we all pitched in. The huge dining room table accommodated us all for great family meals. The real gem of this rental is its location along the Chama River in stunning Abiquiu. We enjoyed walks along the trails that wind throughout the property. Our golden retriever was in heaven in the pasture that gave her rum to run. Our grandchildren had adventures climbing trees and each day feeding the resident horses carrots as a treat. The hills that surround the home offered hikes with scenery that is beyond description. To our family this was the perfect location. We can hardly wait to return. New Mexico truly is the land or enchantment.

Perfect relaxing getaway

This house was perfect for our extended family of ten getaway. The property offers plenty of room to spread out both in the house and outside exploring. We enjoyed giving the animals carrots, walking down to the water, snowball fights, etc. We visited Plaza Blanca, Echo Amphitheater, Ojo Caliente, drove the high road to Taos through Carson National Forest stopping at Santuario Chimayo and other sights and the low road back stopping at a pottery shop, etc. All of these outings were excellent, and we recommend them! We shopped in Espanola on our way to the house the first day and cooked most of our meals in the well-supplied kitchen.

Wonderful Choice

Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night sky and catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Brooks was kind and thorough in all communications and this home will be my first choice should we plan another family trip to Abiquiu.

Lives up to the hype!

We stayed at the ranch with two other couples and couldn't have found a better place for the kind of trip we had in mind. The house is beautiful, with each room offering a different kind of charm and lending itself to different activities. The land immediately around the house is lovely and well maintained. And then, when you are feeling adventurous, the larger property gives you the feeling of real New Mexico wilderness without being too overwhelming. We found the river to be refreshing and safe--a magical outing in the morning or later afternoon. And the horses! We loved feeding them each day. Plus the ranch is in great proximity to a number of attractions--Georgia O'Keeffe's studio, Ghost Ranch for hiking, Taos and Santa Fe for day trips, and much more that we'll have to see on our return trip. Don't pass up this wonderful opportunity!

You won't regret booking Rancho Los Milagros!

We cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Rancho Los Milagros. It was the perfect reunion spot for a group of friends reconnecting from three different corners of the country. We each had our own room with en suite bathrooms, which was so nice to retreat to at the end of the day to have a bit of privacy. Yet the common spaces were large and comfortable, which gave us plenty of space to spend time together. The house is exactly as pictured in the listing and even more beautiful in person. Brooks is a communicative and kind host. Everything we needed was available at the house. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplaces, the kitchen had everything we needed, and basics like toilet paper and linens were well stocked. The heating system worked great, and we never had to adjust the temperatures. It remained comfortable through the snow as well as sunnier/warmer days. Brooks provided us with incredibly detailed information about the property and things to do in the area, which we took full advantage of. It was so fun to feed Pepe and Rosie a carrot each morning and take a short walk around the property to get our day started. This is a beautiful property and home to spend time with your people. I cannot recommend it enough, and we are already planning our next visit to Abiquiu! Thanks for an incredible vacation!

Return visit

The home was beautiful, the property spectacular, and Brooksany was a wonderful host. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. Perfect for our children and grandchild; a great setting for all of us to get together and enjoy a mini-reunion and explore northern New Mexico. The kids loved feeding the animals and playing in the nearby river. The kitchen was well-equiped. It was easy for us to stay home and cook or go ou to eat. We loved being able to eat in either the screened garden room or large dining room. There was more than enough space to read quietly or gather to talk. The beautiful garden areas around the house were perfect for walking. Finally, art works by local artists and craftspeople were placed throughout the home to add a touch of elegance. The instructions on how to operate all the appliances, gates, and accessories were clear and concise. Brooksany’s suggestions on places to eat and how to get around the area were perfect. We loved our visit, to put it simply.

Abiquiu Retreat

Ranchos de Milagros is a lovely property that I would recommend highly. We had to buy kleenex, aluminum foil, etc. The upper oven did not work properly. Problems were reported to owner. I had trouble getting emails from owner, but other people in my party had no problems so a problem with my computer. Charming property.

Awesome Property

The house is large, lovely with excellent outdoor spaces. The large screened space is perfect for eating together. The Chama River is at the rear of the property. Kitchen is well appointed.
