Perfect location for relaxing away from the crowds with an incredible view! Gianluca and family were extremely accommodating and immediately responsive to any questions we had. They even went out of their way to pickup our friend who arrived late due to a flight delay. We enjoyed many wonderful breakfasts and a couple of lovely dinners at the hotel next door. Gaetano even arranged dinner reservations for us and boat trips with beach days!! We travel often and we Highly recommend this beautiful property. Thanks to Gianluca and family our girl trip was seamless and we had an amazing stay! Would definitely return!!

We loved this location!! The villa’s view is top notch! The host was very helpful and so quick to answer questions. Super clean and the patio/terrace was perfect for lounging and enjoying the view!! There are retractable shades for the patio if you need shade. I would recommend if someone rides the bus to the villa that you specify the “lower Conca dei Marini” so that you don’t end up on the bus that takes you to the upper part of Conca because there are so many steps down. We made this mistake but managed to walk down without too much trouble.

Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi

We loved the home and our visit. Everything was perfect. The place was very comfortable and centrally located. The owner was very accommodating and the check in process was easy. We were delayed in our travels and he rearranged his plans to make sure we were checked in and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

The villa was lovely with a stunning overlook of the Mediterranean. Jianluca and his family members were terrific hosts. Hotel Conca Di Azzurra is conveniently located 100 meters away and has an excellent restaurant, Calajanara. The villa is somewhat remote so a car is recommended. That said, there is a daily parking fee at the villa of approximately 35 euros.

Villa Duchessa Stay - Conca Dei Marina

The Villa was perfect for our sister cousin weekend for four. The owner Gaetano and his family were awesome and so hospitable. He told us all the great places to visit and made our arrangements for us. His family owns the hotel next door that had the most beautiful restaurant, amenities and gift shop. The view was incredible and so was the villa. We will definitely go back for another visit.

Geniunely the best vacation experience I've ever had - I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Duchessa to anyone seeking a private and romantic getaway on the Amalfi coast. The views, location and atmosphere are striking. You are surrounded on all sides by beautiful gardens, dramatic cliffs, and the royal blue sea. There are no obstructions to the views, which you alone get to enjoy. The Villa itself is stylish, well-furnished/provisioned and comfortable. Its location (conca dei marini) lends itself to privacy. Although private, the villa is not isolated. It is immediatley accessible from the main road and located within walking distance (3mins) from a fantastic restaurant and a bus stop (SITA)(emerald grotto stop). This allows for easy day excursions into Amalfi, Positano, etc without requiring you to actually stay in the congested locations. There is also a marina near the villa from which a private boat can pick you up for excusursions around the coast. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Gianluca (host) is fantastic. He is extremely invested in making your trip unforgettable and essentially acted as a fixer throughout. He assisted me with booking a private boat tour (highly recommend), assisted in booking dinner reservations at numerous fantastic restaurants (with free shuttles). He promptly responded to any request and was invaluable. In short: the villa is a private beautiful and striking getaway. Couldn't of had a better experience. Will book again.

A wonderful location and experience

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as a central point for exploring the region (Capri, Pompeii, Paestum, Ravello, Path of the Gods, etc.). Parking was easy. The neighboring restaurant was beautiful with friendly staff, perfect for breakfast each morning ( and a perfect first dinner after a day of travel). And the property itself, well see the pictures, it’s gorgeous - we all wish we had more time to enjoy it.

Beautiful villa and Amalfi experience

The villa is as beautiful as the photos, spotless and well appointed. The hosts were excellent communicators and gracious. They made the experience special with lovely touches like getting a few groceries for us, recommending restaurants, arranging for transportation, booking a boat tour and making a reservation at a great restaurant. I highly recommend the host and villa. We are already planning our next visit!

Great house for two couples

We rented the villa for a week and had a wonderful time there. The house is very clean and renovated. I can be quite picky with accommodations but this one ticked all the boxes. The kitchen is well equipped and we had some great cooking sessions. Furthermore the view is great and the terrace offers you a nice place to relax. . Great place only the parking is a bit of a problem but they fixed it you can park at the hotel next door.

Exquisite Amalfi Experience

Our stay at the Villa was wonderful. Brother, Gianluca and Pierpoala, were very helpful with arranging transportation and directing us to the local market and even offering to pick up items for us. They also arranged for help with our luggage. We really appreciated their hospitality and thoughtfulness through our whole trip. We loved the Villa and the location. We hope to return.

Gianluca’s home was so beautiful & we only wish we had stayed longer. Every single recommendation he made for restaurants and things to do were truly Impeccable & he easily arranged transports for us to/from airport as well as a trip into Positano. He also had groceries waiting for us at the property upon request and the whole process was very smoothe. You won’t regret staying here!!
