Incredible views with a spacious private property

Top marks with communication from booking host, Molly, Greeting contact Lesley and owners, Kim. Highly responsive and we felt well cared for. This is a family home and is super well equipped, kitchen was great to prepare our evening meals and the area was super to explore. Quiet villages nearby with outstanding restaurants. Would recommend!

Beautiful place in a wonderful location. Everything you need and more. A/C would have been welcome in the very hot conditions! The pool was wonderfully refreshing.

Beautiful tranquil villa

This villa was absolutely beautiful. Spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. The views are just stunning and Leslie, the house manager, was just delightful and so incredibly helpful. Sad to be home xx

We had a wonderful two weeks staying here. The property is beautiful with spacious grounds, a large swimming pool, and gorgeous views. It is very private, tucked away from the world. The town is a 10 minute walk away and is quiet and delightful with a few good restaurants and bars. No real negatives other than two of the bedrooms being a little small, and the damn mosquitos.All in all: thoroughly recommended, just lovely.

The whole experience was delightful. From stepping into the lovely villa to the wonderful views all around. The villa itself was very well maintained and clean with everything in place to ensure a great holiday. Peace and quiet in abundance especially round the pool where we spent many happy hours. Even though the villa is remote it is possible to stroll down to Paciano for a meal at one of the excellent restaurants or just to admire the scenery. All in all, one of our best holidays yet.

Beautiful week with great view and pool

We have spent a great week here. The house lacked nothing, everything is available. The terrace offers a great view and the pool is huge and offers great swimming and fun. You can reach the little town very quickly also by foot and find great restaurants and shopping facilities. Unfortunately, our week went by very quickly we have enjoyed it very much.

wonderful place

The privacy and the quietness is just insane. the sunset view is incredible. the little village of Paciano has great dinner options to offer, however it is a 10-15 min walk . the good thing is that you burn the calories from dinner on the way back as it is all uphill, partially up over 20pct on a gravel road. We enjoyed our week a lot and we overwhelmed by the support and help being offered by Leslie, who perfectly took care for us while there.

Good base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany

A very well equipped home away from home. Peaceful with scenic views for those who just want to relax, but also well located for day trips to Assisi, Siena, and countless hilltop villages. A car is a must, and be aware that there is a long and VERY steep drive up to the house. Extra road maintenance and grading would be very helpful. Local agent Leslie was responsive, informative, warm and welcoming.

Fabulous views. Property getting a bit tired.

Beautifully located villa close to lovely Paciano (although the description of being able to walk there in 5 mins is a slight exaggeration!).The drive up is tricky but the views and outside seating choices make it worth it. Inside, much of it is quite dated, particularly decor, appliances, towels and bedding. We also reported to the very helpful property manager the loose bannister, external wooden railings beginning to rot and loose breeze blocks at end of steps to pool now clearly dangerous.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the beautiful views and outdoor spaces — many of our guests say it’s one of the real highlights of staying at the villa. I’ve since spoken with the owner, who let me know that all towels and bed linen have now been replaced with new ones. The breeze blocks at the end of the pool steps have also been repaired, and a carpenter has been asked to reinforce the bannister which was a bit wobbly from children playing on it. Regarding the location, thank you for pointing that out. Just to clarify, our listing does not state that Paciano is a five-minute walk. It is within walking distance, but as you noted, the walk is via a gravel road through the forest — part of what gives the villa its peaceful setting and panoramic views. I appreciate you raising your concerns with the property manager during your stay. Immediate steps were taken, and further maintenance has been carried out everything remains in excellent condition. Thanks again for your comments — they’re incredibly helpful in allowing us to improve and make sure future guests have the best experience possible

Utterly idyllic!

This is a tranquil and very special property and we had the most amazing week. The setting is devine...stunning scenery overlooking the hills of Tuscany and so very peaceful. The pool, set down some steps away from the house, is absolutely beautiful and the biggest we have ever had (and we have enjoyed many properties with pools over the years). The house has everything you need, espcially in the kitchen, which made cooking easy. Paciano is the most beautiful, picturesque village and a real gem. We enjoyed some delicious coffee and pastry breakfasts at Echoes cafe and loved the fact that we could walk there from the house. The sunsets from the house are stunning. Leslie met us at the house on arrival and was on hand the whole week, with great advice and ideas, so we felt very looked after. We could not have asked for more. Absolutely love this place and we very much hope to be able to come back one day.

Amazing View

Property was open plan, well furnished and definitely felt like a home rather than a holiday let. Lesley, the manager, was friendly and efficient. If we had any problems they were sorted out immediately. It was a pleasure to deal with her. Pool was enormous and with over 34oC temps we really appreciated it. Looking a little sad though so will need some work. The road up to the property from Paciano was terrible. There had been a lot of water damage which we were concerned would damage the car. Didn't feel safe walking up and down to the village which was a shame. Overall - we absolutely loved our two weeks at this property and soaked up the beautiful views. Paciano is a friendly village with everything that you need to have an enjoyable holiday. We also played golf at Lamborghini Golf Resort and Perugia Golf Club which finished off our 7.5 week holiday beautifully.

Tartagli Alti is an extensive and well equipped property with the most beautiful views, nestling in the forest on the edge of Paciano.Access is via an unmade road with some challenging gradients to a car with 5 adults and luggage. The house is extensive ,excellently equipped, quite mature, yet well maintained. Patio areas are large with brilliant views. The pool is large with lots of loungers and parasols. It’s accessed by a step path which one needs to take care on.The walk to town is around 10 minutes. The uphill return takes a few minutes longer. If not always driving , a basic level of fitness and mobility would be recommended. The views and situation are just beautiful.Comms was excellent, initially with Molly from Friends of Tuscany and subsequently with local contact Leslie who is friendly , knowledgeable , helpful and very much a Paciano local. The few queries we raised on holiday were responded to really quickly.Local large towns we enjoyed most were Perugia, Orvieto and Assisi. More locally, Castiglione Del Lago is very touristy and has many good restaurants. Paciano itself is a beautiful small town withtwo cafes, a small supermarket and at least 3 restaurants.

Beautifully equipped. Obvioulsy a much loved family home. Elevated position provided stunning views and sunsets. Aircon in rooms and 12m pool made it a very comfortable stay in the summer heat.

Parfait

Une maison incroyable perdue dans la nature. La vue est magnifique avec tous les soirs le coucher de soleil à l'horizon ! Maison très spacieuse avec des belles chambres et plusieurs terrasses pour profiter de chaque moment de la journée. La piscine est grande et propre et l'équipement est parfait. Very enjoyable!

Fabulous location with amazing views across the valley. A well equipped house with lovely pool. Paciano has a couple of good restaurants and 2 bars. The place is high up in the hills and visitors should be mindful of the steep climb.

Relax e natura

Le foto sul sito sono fedeli e mostrano alcuni lati della casa, ma il panorama che si vede ogni giorno vivendo in villa è impagabile. Tramonti meravigliosi e giornate in piscina immersi nella natura. Inoltre è un buon punto di partenza per visitare l'Umbria. Siamo stati bene e i gestori sono sempre disponibili per ogni evenienza. Da migliorare solo la gestione dei manutentori della piscina (fissare ora e giorno preciso per la pulizia), inoltre segnalo che non c'è aria condizionata, anche se la notte si è dormito molto bene nonostante le giornate calde di Agosto. È sempre ventilato. Consiglio vivamente questo posto! È veramente fantastico, abbiamo passato una vacanza indimenticabile.

Fijn en mooi gelegen huis met schitterend uitzicht

Zeer mooi gelegen huis met schitterend uitzicht en fantastisch zwembad. Mooie omgeving, leuk dorp, waar je prima kunt eten. Wel een flink steile wandeling. De bedden (alleen enkele bedden) konden wat bete. Op onze klacht over een flinke lekkage in een van de slaapkamers werd helaas niet geregeerd. In de aanloop naar de vakantie was het contact met de beheerder/verhuurder goed. Daarna niemand meer gezien of gesproken bij aankomst en vertrek. Op zich prima. Het huis is zeker een aanrader!

Dear Henk, Thank you for the positive review. You mention that there was a leak in the bedroom but this was only because of a storm and not a plumbing issue. It is a shame because you never contacted me or the house manager about this. One of the positive things about this villa is that there is a house manager as well as myself to assist you during your stay.
