Lovley. Beautiful unit. Beautiful views.Most important Moritza was there to answer questions, helo us with check in and get us back in when we locked the unit with our car keys inside. Moritza, thank you, thank you, thank you.

A week in paradise!

We all had a wonderful time! The property of the resort was amazing and the Villa was perfect! Loved everything about it!! The only draw back was that the waves were a bit too rough. Fortunately Luquillo Beach was an easy drive.

Comfortable Luxury Villa with a Magnificent View

My family and I had a wonderful week-long stay at this villa at the Wyndham Rio Mar resort property. The villa was clean, beds were very comfortable (we slept like babies), and it was fully stocked from the kitchen to the beach gear to the linens. It even had 2 bidets! We felt right at home and having 2.5 baths was really nice for a group of 4. We spent a lot of the time in the mornings and evenings on the large balcony that overlooked the grounds, with ocean views to the left and mountains to the right. The entire villa was more beautiful than the photos convey. The property manager was helpful and very responsive to our questions/needs. Traveling to El Yunque rainforest was a breeze, and there are several nice beaches nearby. The airport was about a 30 minute drive and 45 min to Old San Juan. We also enjoyed going to the casino and the It's 5'o Clock Somewhere beach bar at the hotel. The drinks were pricey but well-made and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. The location was fantastic and we hope to stay at this villa again. It offers the best of both worlds in terms of having the hotel amenities close by but also having space and privacy of a private home. It was well worth it! Definitely read the villa manual in advance for helpful tips, including how to score free parking at the hotel.

Wyndham Resort Condo

The property was good for four adults, spacious and room for everyone. It has a nice outdoor patio with views of the ocean. Internet was fine in the unit, but sketchy on the patio. Arrival and securing the condo was not easy. The directions were not accurate and the key was not where it was supposed to be. However, Maritza, the property manager, was very accommodating and helpful throughout our two week stay. The property handbook needs some work! There isn’t much in there, leaving us to get help from Maritza many times to figure out security fobs in and out of the property, the air conditioning, resort access, directions to town, beaches, attractions, local restaurants, etc.There were issues with the TV, would play for 20 minutes then shut off never to return! This was a problem for my husband since it was the NCAA finals! Apparently, this was going to be fixed the day we left.The condo has its own pool, guests cannot access to the one at the beach club as advertised in the listing. One can rent the tennis courts, pay for golf and eat at the resort’s restaurants. We didn’t, found local places that were good and half the price! Beach chairs at the beach club are free, and you can order a drink on the beach, but can’t enter the pool area. The beach is nice and offers good walks and swimming. Just around the corner there is a secluded bay on windy days which is lovely. A rental car is a must, the property is large and the condo is too far to walk to the beach.

Better than expected

The property was beautiful, the 15 minute walk to the beach was beautiful. Perfect location, great bakery just a couple minutes away, only 20 minutes from El Yunque and amazing waterfall slides. Maritza was very attentive to our stay and the villa was gorgeous. The view from the large balcony is breathtaking. Thank you for a great experience in Puerto Rico.
