The inside was nice. I did not end up bringing pets because they could not be left unattended which would not work for us.

Great location and can’t beat the panoramic views! Amazing close beach access and very easy to get there for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Holiday getaway

We’ve stayed in this studio apartment before and love it. It’s cozy with a great view and awesome beach access. This trip didn’t disappoint either!

The property was spacious and well-appointed. I didn't realize that it was a 2nd floor property (I should have looked at the pictures more closely, haha!), but that wasn't an issue. GREAT access to the beach, which was very quiet and beautiful!

Amazing view

The big windows make you feel like you're on the beach but cozy and warm inside. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet and clean. Love how everything is in one big room.

We had such a great stay. Communication was always prompt. We had zero issues. The unit was exactly as described but probably better. The views, the comfort, location were ideal.

Wonderful Views

House is right on the highway which is easy access. The views with the morning fog were amazing. Wish the steam part of the shower worked. Bed was comfortable.

Can’t beat the views

This place is stunning, big, and peaceful! My husband’s favorite part is cooking while looking at the waves. My kids adore the loft. I relaxing on the big couch overlooking the ocean. We will be back for a third time for sure.

Great View

This property is a large open space with gorgeous views. Access to the beach is easy. Lots of open beach and dunes. The one drawback is the exit to hwy. 101. Traffic is at 55mph and the hedges block much of the view.

The view was great! Loved the beach. Room was clean. I was just shocked by the state of the building. When we pulled up I thought I was at the wrong place . It has stuff over the windows and looked extremely run down . I almost cried.There was no ac for the room and it was very hot on the second night and we are only in April. The room was nice and I really loved the view. After I realized they are slowly renovating the units I felt a little better but I thought there should be more transparency on the condition of the building as a whole.

The view of the beach from the house is wonderful and we like the open concept. we did find some dog hair on the futon but the rest of the house was clean. the deck furniture needs replacing.

Awesome view, sounds of ocean and highway

Love the view, closeness to the ocean and comfortable amenities. Did not recieved clear communication on how to check in. The highway sounds were bothersome. Other than the highway noise and check in difficulties we enjoyed our stay.

Short but Sweet

We really loved this little beach studio, the views were truly immaculate and the fish and chips up the street in Yachats was the best i've ever had in my life, only downside was there wasn't a way to get down to the yard/beach area from the back porch.

Gorgeous view!!! Can't compare night and day, the ocean is right there. Kitchen was not as well equipped as needed to have others over. A washer and dryer would make everything amazing. I will be back to Sanderling Sea Cottages, maybe this unit or another slightly more modern, thank you!

Great stay at the Sanderling!

We loved our stay. It was a bit challenging to find at first as there is no signage. The unit is great inside but the exterior was worn. The unit below looked to be getting a makeover so it’s possible the whole grouping of connected units will get a makeover too. No one was staying below us, which was nice for privacy. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was so cozy and being able to wake up to the ocean view and a short walk down the path to it was spectacular. Would stay here again!

Finally a moment away

We had a great time. Easy to the beach. Had a wonderful little balcony. The sunset view was amazing. The plce was very clean and had more space than needed. The apartment down stairs is not rentable at the time, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. A few suggestions, the lack of a “bedroom” closet was hard. At least add more hangers. Plus I would suggests a few coat hooks or a rack of some kind. A nice feature would also be a dishwasher. And maybe a few kitchen hand towels. It was a great place. And we had a great time!
