Nola foodie trip

We really enjoyed the spacious property and its location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, & great ice cream shop. Parking is a bit difficult, there is only street parking. The duplex is well equipped and very clean.

Best of NOLA

I frequently return to this neighborhood and for good reason. the people are great and the location is low key if that's your bag. This is was the nicest space I've stayed at in a long time.

Nice location.

The location of the house is perfect and the house itself is nice, however, while it was pretty clean, the closet door in the primary upstairs bedroom was off the hinges, there were noticeable stains from water damage in the kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is not super private as the door has glass that is not frosted or tinted. The host was very responsive when we notified them of the water damage. Bring extra towels if you have a larger group. Also, not a deal breaker, but the picture in the primary bedroom upstairs is creepy. Overall, we had a good time and the house was fine for our 2 day stay.

Nice place on Magazine Street

Nice place with automatic check in, however the Kitchen was not equipped for a place that sleeps 10. Only 2 forks and not nearly enough dishes for 10.

New place - not quite ready to be a rental

We chose this place because of the location. It was right where we wanted to be. Apparently, it is new to the rental program. *Before entering, the first thing we noticed was the exterior wall had most of the siding pulled off, which brings up another point. We were on a very busy street and parking is at a premium. Just in front of the house was the trailer that was being filled with the siding that was being pulled off. I would have certainly moved the trailer for the weekend while guests were there not only for aesthetics but certainly because the street parking fills up quickly. * It was listed as a 4 bdrm 2 bath. It is a 3 bdrm with a bed which was put in a 4th room just as you enter the front door. No closet or anything to unpack so you are living out of your suitcase. * I would have thought that certainly all the bathrooms would have been in working order. Upon our late arrival Friday night, we found that 1 of the 2 toilets was not Flushing! We were supposed to have 7 people there with us. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view, 2 of our guests were not able to make it. So we had 5 guests with 1 toilet. They sent someone the following morning but it was too complicated a fix so they had to send someone else THE next day. It was fixed on Sunday morning. We only had 1 more night there! * The comforters with duvet on the bed were very pretty. When it was time to sleep, the comforter with duvet was the only option other than the sheet that was on the bed. The comforter was so heavy it would make you sweat until the air came on. It ended up being a pull it up, take it off all night. I ended up going to Wal-Mart and bought blankets for the 3 beds we were using. Maybe extra blankets in the closet would be a good idea. Ok. Shower time. There were a total of 5 wash clothes that we could find in the house. *The one sofa that was in the house had the end of a spring sticking out. My mom sat on the sofa and had to jump up because something poked her. Also, when we chatted using the app on the first night regarding the unflushable toilet, we mentioned that the 1 tv in the house was missing a remote. Someone was going to order a new one. We never got the remote and was sent a message saying we could use our phone as the remote. On the last night, I finally figured out how to get my prime account "casted" onto the tv. Could not get local channels. The exp. was just exhausting! Disappointed!
