We had a slight problem with the water on arrival, but the property manager was very quick to respond and help. Customer service was excellent.

Orange Crush 1 was ideal for our family. Easy to check in and check out. Clean. Lots of neighborhood character. For walkers like ourselves, the location was perfect: quiet, near tennis courts, the beach and the towns unique esteries can't be beat.

1 STAR — Extremely Disappointing & UnsafeOur Labor Day weekend stay was extremely disappointing. The property raised serious concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and safety. Upon arrival, we found blood on the floor, duct tape on the flooring, hair in the bed, a dirty coffee machine and toaster, and an extremely dirty patio. The kitchen floor was particularly concerning—it visibly dipped several inches when stepped on and felt like a serious subfloor issue. There was also another soft spot near the kitchen table. We experienced a significant ant infestation, with red ants throughout the kitchen and countertops, including inside the toaster oven and coffee machine, making both unusable and making us uncomfortable preparing food. The oven shook significantly when used. Even more concerning, wires were running across the ground, creating a serious tripping hazard. My aunt actually tripped and fell because of the wires. Thankfully, she was not seriously injured. These were not minor inconveniences. The combination of unsafe flooring, exposed wires, ants, dirty appliances, blood, hair, and overall poor cleanliness and maintenance significantly affected our comfort and safety. We paid for a clean, safe, and properly maintained vacation rental and unfortunately did not receive that. We would NOT stay here again. I NEVER had a bad experience with an Air B & B before. This experience has inspired me to only stay in pet friendly hotels from now on.

Long weekend

Orange Crush 2 was a very nice property. It was recently renovated. The decor was very inviting. Kitchen was well equipped. It did not have a regular coffee pot, only a Keurig, the listing only said coffee pot. I purchased a coffee pot and Chesapeake Bay Rentals who manages the property reimbursed me for it. We had a couple issues while there and this property manager was fantastic. The house has 2 full baths, the three bedrooms are upstairs and only one full bath is upstairs and the 2nd full bathroom is on the ground floor off the kitchen. It had 2 lovely lovely porches one off the front and one off the back. The steps are rather steep so I would say if renting this property with small children bring a gate and for older adults there are many steps to climb. There is a futon in the kitchen . We would stay again.

Crushed it!

Very clean and tidy beach duplex. Back alley access was a great alternative to the front door. Outdoor seating options were nice, both front and back deck. Upstairs bathroom is a little tight and short on storage. The stairs are steeper than modern rentals, but to be expected in an older historic home. They had a baby gate at the top though, which was a really nice touch especially for our old dog. Bedrooms were spacious and the a/c worked well all week. Good closet space so you don't have to trip over your bags. We like walking our dog, but if you have little ones you will want a cart as it is several blocks to the beach and stores. A bike is a perfect alternative too. Any way you look at it, you can drop your car keys in the bottom of your bag and forget about them for the week. What a great trip!

Orange Crush

Home was newly remodeled. When I asked about coffee pot I was told yes they had one so i bought ground coffee. I was not told it was a K-cup and had yo make a trip out to get some. Stairs were a bit steep and upstairs bathroom was extremely narrow for some to enter. But we enjoyed our stay very very much

Cute duplex for a young crowd

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Orange Crush is a nice duplex very near the beach and in a sweet little town. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was very clean. Only real downside is the stairs. They are really steep and sloped down, so it requires both hands to maintain balance and a slow pace to keep from falling. Do not recommend this for seniors. If you have young children, make sure you bring a baby gate. Owners could also spend a few dollars and put nightstands and lamps in the MBR as well as blinds for privacy on the kitchen door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Easy check in and check out. Nice staff in the property management office. The best meal we had was at Hook@Harvey, great food and service but be sure to make reservations well ahead online.
