Thank you for the 5-star review of River Dance Retreat! I’m glad you enjoyed the riverside location, and that the bedrooms and kitchen were your highlights of the home. I’m sorry about the hot tub odor — we take that seriously and have scheduled a deep clean and inspection to resolve it. Thank you for choosing Meredith Lodging; we’d love to host you again.

Thank you for calling out the lovely setting, wildlife, and convenient location — I'm so glad those aspects stood out during your stay. I'm very sorry the upkeep and cleanliness fell short. I’ve shared every item you listed with our maintenance and housekeeping teams so they can address them immediately. I can confirm that the dryer has since been repaired and the hot tub work order from before your stay was reviewed by management. The work order photos did confirm the water was balanced and clean before your arrival, but we will keep a close eye on it to make sure it is circulating as it should. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback; it helps us make meaningful improvements.

We are sorry to hear that the kitchen has something on the counter tops. We are not sure what that could be, however we are happy that you loved the cabin.
