We loved our stay at this rental! The house had a fully stocked kitchen, tons of games, plenty of linens, two spacious living and dining areas, a beautiful deck, and convenient river access.

This was the spot we were looking for, somewhat secluded and close to water. Lots of room for our group in a beautiful house, everything worked and we had a great time.

We had no cell service to get the door code. Took 40min to finally get enough signal to get the code. The baby was crying, everyone had to pee, it was pretty stressful. Very nice and spacious home once we got in. We enjoyed our stay and made lasting memories.

Thank you for the review and for sharing your family had a memorable time. I'm sorry the limited cell service made accessing the door code stressful upon arrival. Our arrival message sends out a few hours ahead of check-in, with a message that our guests should save the code before they get to the forest, as reception can be very limited. We will work to make that language clearer and will consider sending that out even earlier because we certainly don't ever want our guests to be stressed upon arrival, especially when arriving with small children. Thank you very much for the feedback.

Very private nice and spacious house in the woods. Unfortunately when we arrived we noticed mice droppings and found a mouse in a sticky trap under the sofa. During our stay two more were caught. I’m not from Oregon so maybe there is no way to control mice in a house in the woods but it appears sticky traps aren’t the answer. Decently clean less the mice issue.

Overall a great place to stay near Mt. Hood. Great location next to Salmon River. Bring your own firewood if you want to use the wood stove.

Gorgeous house! We wished it had been a bit more well stocked, as there was only one washcloth in the entire house and several appliances in the kitchen were broken, but overall we enjoyed our stay here. Don't miss the lovely benches overlooking the river!

Cabin was clean. Well set up for family. Could even be good for two families. . Lots of rooms, , well stocked kitchen, lots of games and DVDs. Pet friendly with a small fenced in yard.

Beautiful location deep in the forest. Plenty of room for our group of ten. Beds were comfy and we loved all of the board games and air hockey. There are treads on the outdoor stairs, but they still get very slippery when wet.

Wonderful stay

This mountain chalet is comfortable and clean with everything you'll need for a pleasant get-away. We highly recommend it.

The space in the house and the size of the property gave lots of privacy which was fantastic! It was a very enjoyable birthday and doubly so since I could have my family AND dogs with me. We made good use of the covered grill which was nice as we picked a rainy weekend. The sky lights throughout the house helped to make it bright and cheery even when cloudy. We were able to made quick hikes to the river whenever the rain let up. Fern Gully! The place was clean and cutely decorated. The kitchen had all the dishes and pans we needed. The game room was well stocked with plenty of games to choose from and included air hockey and a Pac-Man arcade. We were not fortunate enough to have been able to make much use of the spacious deck but, look forward to another visit where I can sit on the deck with my coffee listening to the river.

The house was amazing, everything you need for a large family get together. The owners are very friendly, responsive and accommodating for special circumstances! We had an amazing time for my husband’s 50th birthday, this house was perfect for accommodating our large family and dogs! Great home with lots of activities for the kiddos!!

Great vacation house

The house was perfect. The pics made it look like there were trails all over but there was only one to the river that we could find. Still a very quiet area and we would book this place again.

Awesome property and location

Absolutely beautiful property. Short walk to a river and amazing views from the deck. Home is perfect for a larger family and super clean. Everything you need. We would definitely stay again!!
