Our apartment is located in the hearth of the historic centre of Rome, this is a strategic area with many cultural sites within walking distance such as Circus Maximus and Coliseum.
We are on the Tiber river at the third and last floor (with elevator) with a spectacular view . Cross the bridge, and you are in the Trastevere district where you can enjoy every Sunday the fantastic flea market.
A beautiful walk along the characteristic river Tiber bank (Lungotevere) will bring you in a few minutes to the site of "Bocca della Verità" famous movie spot where we suggest you take some photos. Here you can chose different tours: one option is to walk along the "Roman Stadium - Circus Maximus" towards the entrance of the Coliseum and the Imperial Forum; a second one is to proceed along the Tiber, a route which will easily lead to "Campo de' Fiori", passing along side the characteristic Jewish District. To catch a majestic viewpoint of the city, climb up Colle Aventino (one of the seven roman hills) which will entice you with a romantic sight of Rome from the “Giardino degli Aranci' and where you will see some of the oldest Churches of the city.
