This was our second stay at this property. We love the apartment, especially the deck. It’s in a great location and we ate at several restaurants that are only a few steps away. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view over Trastevere from the rooftop patio. Situated close to all the activity but on a quiet street. Luca was very helpful and made the check in easy.

this place is AWESOME!!!location is perfect, far enough away from insane rome crowds but close enough to get almost anywhere within a 30 minute walk.so many great restaurants in a 200 metre radius - also bakeries and groceries! terrace is wonderful for morning coffee or afternoon nap. bed is extremely comfortable, and apartment is very well equipped.highly recommend, as long as you’re okay with 4 flights of stairs - great exercise!thanks for an amazing place luca.

This is a beautiful apartment. Excellent view, quiet part of Trastevere. We stayed about one week. Comfortable bed and lovely amenities. 10/10!

** A perfect Roman home base in Trastevere**We spent 12 wonderful nights at Luca's rooftop loft and didn't want to leave. The location is ideal: quaint restaurants and shops are right outside your door, and the river is just steps away. Trastevere is slower and more relaxed than central Rome but still close to everything, so you get the best of both.Luca was a fantastic host, and the loft was a comfortable place to come back to after long days exploring. One tip: the bakery across the street, a few doors to the right, is a must. We were there more mornings than we'd like to admit!Stay here. You won't be sorry.

What a charming and perfect spot in the quiet part of Trastevere! Its exactly what you want for a romantic getaway. Hearing the bells sound over the city, the light, the character of the place. Simply perfect, zero notes. Luca and team were great hosts. Thank you!

We loved Luca’s apartment and the neighborhood. A short walk to all the tourist sites, yet a quiet and charming location with great restaurants. The apartment has a great view of the city and a very nice terrace. Luca is the best host - he has great advice and recommendations - don’t sleep on his restaurant reviews. He even arranged for our ride to the airport. The apartment is as described on the listing and we hope to return to the apartment the next time we are in Rome. Thank you Luca!!

This is a fantastic apartment for a individual or couple to stay near the center of the city. Plenty of sites and restaurants right from the apartment or short walk. The host made it very easy to find and get into. I will miss the balcony/terrace and it truly is a classic view. Would not hesitant to reserve this apartment again next time im in Rome.

An absolute storybook couple's stay. We loved the apartment, the area, and the hospitality so much. Balcony area was exceptional, kitchen supplies were well-stocked, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Luca was great with communication and Michele did a great job orienting us with the place. Couldn't recommend more!

This was a fantastic apartment! The terrace was such a treat and we spent time there everyday. Luca was a gracious host and so easy to get in touch with. The apartment was wonderful with everything we needed. We used the kitchen every morning to make breakfast and were pleased to have everything we needed. The location in Trastevere was a great area. We enjoyed the food, churches, shops in the area and easily got to all the other areas in Rome. Hope we can return.

Nothing short of a movie set!! Absolutely adored this apartment- would come back in a flash!! Our hosts, Luca and Stefi, were great and ultra quick to reply with recommendations on things we were looking for in the neighborhood (e.g. a hairdresser to get a blowout for example!…Marco @ Maripier right around the corner is awesome! ), etc. The place is super well located, bring comfortable shoes to walk everywhere and off you go! As others have mentioned, there are no elevator in the building - as it’s usually the case in Trastevere, so travel light?Again, great experience.

We loved our accommodations in Rome. The location is perfect, walkable to everything we wanted to see. There are many restaurants very close to the property, and all of them we experienced were excellent. Our host was incredibly helpful and very nice!

Our host, Luca, could not have been more responsive and kind! He arranged transport from the airport for us, and rescued us after we checked out and realized we left something behind!The location was beautiful, Trestevere is a perfect neighborhood to stay in. The terrace, and the bank of windows looking out made the experience very special.

Excellent stay! Luca was so helpful with suggestions for restaurants and such. Even accommodated us with an early check in. He stayed in touch with us once our train was delayed until we made it to the location. House is charming and as pictured. Easy walking distance to shopping and the Pantheon. Only down side to the property was because it was very centrally located to many restaurants, at night it can be noisy until around 0030-0100. Even considering that, we would absolutely rent again and have already recommended this to other friends coming in the future.

View from the patio is wonderful

The patio was amazing. My husband and I could spend hours sipping wine, watching the light change over the tops of the ancient buildings all around us. There were birds everywhere, and a birds-eye view over Trastevere to boot. The apartment was well equipped and in truly excellent location. Two small downsides for us - the bed was very firm, and the bathroom was in need of modernization.

Great Location & Value

My wife and I stayed in Luca's apartment for 5 nights in June 2014. (Apologies for the late review Luca). The apartment is small, but very comfortable and well appointed. Remember when in Rome... The terrace is amazing - the ideal spot for aperitivos and late night drinks. The area is fantastic. A great location from which to explore Rome - especially the Trastevere and Testaccio areas. Location, Location, Location

Luca's pleasant penthouse loft is on via dei genovese which is a bustling street in Trastevere with everything you need (many restaurants, and a bar, coffee shop, tabacco shop, grocery and dry cleaner). The apartment is small, but the large terrace with great view makes up for it. Luca, the owner, arranged transportation to and from the airport which was a great perk. Highly recommended. (Only 4 stars because bathroom is very small and hard to keep dry.)
