perfect location! my family enjoyed the stay, the rooms were comfortable and the place was bigger than what it seems in the listing in my opinion. The host was very responsive.

Host refused to give us the door code until the last minute, then didn't text it to us so when we got there after a three hour drive, we couldn't get in. Took almost an hour for us to get it. The phone number that we were given to call for help kept hanging up every time we called. Then the next day the power was shut off for three hours with no notice. The power company said a notice was left on the front door days earlier, whoever got it didn't let us know. There is a huge construction project going on directly across the street, we won't stay there again. That being said, the house was very nice and we were happy with the house itself, it was clean, we had everything we needed.

We do want to clarify that the door code was sent via text at 1:20 PM, well before our scheduled 4:00 PM check-in time. We also made several attempts to reach you by text but did not receive a response. That said, we’re sorry to hear you experienced difficulty accessing the home and frustration with the phone support. We understand how disappointing that must have been after a long drive. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected power interruption and understand your concerns regarding the nearby construction. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as guest feedback helps us identify areas where communication and service can improve.

Amazing Stay!

The Badger Den was an amazing place to stay at for our family Fourth of July vacation. It was incredibly clean, neat, and had modern design and decor. A close walk to the lake or Main Street, a car wasn't needed for most of the stay. Cool Cabins was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with!

Short Mountain Getaway

Check in was super easy - the property manager answered questions quickly and instructions were clear. While there were some quirks, such an a wonky sink handle and flooring coming up a bit, the location was excellent. The house was very clean and the heat worked perfectly. Would def stay again.

Overall it is very nice. Nice showers and rooms, couches a bit stained but bearable. The place is fully loaded with just about everything you need. The house is central to everything we were doing. Its an easy walk to the Village, and the Marina's. (The map is deceiving, its really closer than it looks.) The house is kept up very well, nothing broken and even has a record player with albums. The place has lots of games etc to keep the kids busy (assuming you have some). The BBQ grill is clean and ready to use. The dishes and pots and pans were of good quality. The only drawbacks were lack of AC, we brought a fan but it was too hot and we could not sleep well. And TV choices were too limited. Yes we wanted to relax and watch some TV in the evening, but for us, there was nothing worth watching which was very frustrating. Luckily someone from a prior stay had not logged out so we were able to watch some things, but overall it was a bummer in that respect. That being said, I highly recommend the place, just plan accordingly if you are going in the summer.

Badger Den Paradise!

We had such a wonderful stay here. Our kids each loved their rooms and wow the master bedroom was so spacious and the bed so comfortable. Very beautifully designed and had all the essentials that we needed! The location was THE BEST!!! Walk to bowling, walk to shops, walk to the roller coaster and alpine slide. Looooved our weekend!
