relaxing and beautiful

Our stay was wonderful. The property manager answered my emails quickly and was very helpful. The property is beautiful and quiet. Great location with only a 10 minute drive to either downtown cherokee or bryson city

Bryson City Trip

Very pleased with the accommodations and attention we received as soon as we arrived. Older fella cutting grass helped us get our bike trailer situated so we had easy access to it. We came up to golf and ride in the mountains. The weather cooperated perfectly and we had an amazing trip. Looking forward to the next one, and we will for sure be back to the cabins.

Loved the cabin! Great for a get away to enjoy all the area offers. The heater in the bathroom is a really nice touch for cold mornings. Timed it twice, and it’s 11 minutes door to door from the casino. Nothing negative to say.

Great cabins...enjoyed our stay

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Ela Shores...each time in a different cabin. This was the first time we were able to see two elk right outside our cabin and what a treat it was! Cabins are in a great location...right between Cherokee and Bryson City. Clean, cute, had pretty much everything we needed for our stay.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful, clean cabin! Perfectly positioned close to Cherokee for the casino and Bryson City for the Polar Express train ride. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Singing in the Smokies

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The cabin was just want we needed for our stay. It was only about 5 minute to the Bryson city event park. Tom and Christean

3rd time staying at property

We have stayed at one of the cabins on 3 different occasions and each time was great. The one downside is they have removed the washer and dryers from the cabins which is real unfortunate. There were some dirty towels left in our unit but it won't keep us away. We love the area.

Excellent

The cabin was as expected, clean and well stocked with supplies. The guest host and her staff are friendly and very accommodating. The area offers various things to do. The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad is close by as are several excellent golf courses. You might even have elk come visit you. We will be back to stay again, great cabins!!

Amazing

This was exactly as described on website . Our contact, Jennifer , was easy to email and promptly answered all questions. Cabin was clean and close to all activities of interest for our family. Everyone loved it!!

It was very beautiful, loved the fire pit option. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is because the wall hvac was not big/strong enough to warm the room appropriately for small children through the night. We stayed when it was 20 degrees at night and could not seem to get the room greater than 65 degrees. Other than that- it was a wonderful stay!

PROS: (1) Host was accessible when we needed extra kitchen towels and an additional hand towel in the bathroom. (2) Cabin docor was fun with the airplane memorabilia. (3) LR furniture was comfy. Especially the recliner. Husband enjoyed it. (4) Nice assortment of dishes/utensils/pots & pans. (5) Convenient to our destination at the Great Smoky Mountain Event Center. (6) Near super views of the mountains(7) Easy to check in and out off(8) Handy to get to both Bryson City and Cherokee(9) Nice refrigerator and stove(10) Bed was comfortable (11) Nice size shower(12) Handy parking close to cabinCONS: (1) AC too loud when trying to sleep. However, room too hot without AC. (2) Living room rug had not been vaccumed before we arrive. There were food crumbs & fuzz left on the rug. (3) Also, pile a dust/dirt/spider webs between recliner and wall. (4) Recliner still has tags attached. (lol) Also, there is an additional plastic tag fastener sticking out on the front of the chair as well. (5) There are 2 skillets. Large one is great. Small one is scratched up and should never be used. Since the guests wash and replace utensils, the host never knows when dishes need replacing. Please replace the small skillet. (6) Shower curtain allows water to get onto bathroom floor. (7) No towel racks at sink for hand towels. (8) Very sad collection of bath towels/hand towels/kitchen towels. Past their prime!

I did not get proper info for check in. But when i arrived i called the phone number and they sent me all of the info in a text. I do believe this was VRBO's problem not the property

Simply Amazing

We were in Bryson City, North Carolina to go on the Polar Express for the very first time. When we got to the cabin it was so beautiful inside and I noticed it was very clean. To me it had a slight cigarette smell, but I just got a wall scent and I didn’t notice it at all after that. That small thing will not stop me from coming back. The space in the cabin was so spacious and cozy. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby the two nights we stayed. The cabin is conveniently located close to the downtown area, and right across to a Dollar General store. My favorite part was seeing all the stars outside our cabin, it really was magical. I can’t wait to visit again!!
