Great place for a big family

Great house!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The beach access is close and the house is large and comfortable. There were 11 of us for dinner but only 7 people sleeping at the house. It has great views of the ocean from the spacious balconies. Played Foosball (needs a fix!) and enjoyed the hot tub. I recommend without reservation. Martha

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Surprised my husband with a beach casino trip for his birthday. The house was huge and had plenty of room for us and his siblings and spouses. Loved that the house was in walking distance to the casino, took us less than 10 minutes to walk there. Great views of the ocean. The house was clean and very comfortable. The management company was great. My husband left his winnings from the casino at the house so we called them. They sent someone right over and found it and mailed it to us the next day. I would definately book this house again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd year we stayed at the Pacific Palace, and we were very disappointed. This year we paid almost double, and the house was completely run down. There were broken things all over the house and we were afraid to touch or use anything. Things literally fell apart in our hands. A table was laying broken when we got there, blinds were hanging off.... faucets were broken. we even had to purchase a new pool stick and accessories that we left at the house for others to use. For the amount of money we spent to stay there, things should be in working order. We should not have to pay money to use an amenity. We will never stay in this house again, or even with this company. What a let down!

Perfect for having fun as a family

We loved the big kitchen. The individual suites were really nice to have. The game room and lots of tables for playing cards at or eating got plenty of use. I enjoyed the multiple decks and great ocean views. My younger daughter never wanted to leave the house!

Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful house. the only thing I waould recommend would be to cleas the ceiling fans of tons of dust so when you have them going its not a mess floating everywhere and cold air returns were packed with it. Hot tub full of sand cant be good either. Other than those 3 it was great.

A Great House

The nine of us in our group had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The kitchen was huge and almost fully equipped with appliances. None of us had seen a drawer microwave before and we loved the popcorn machines. The kids (and adults) loved the game room and the theater room. The view of the ocean and beach particularly from the third floor was great. It was very clean and tidy. It was nice having Safeway within walking distance for any supplies we needed. Our biggest issue was handicap access to the upper floors. There were a few minor things like no door from the house to the backyard with the spa, the gas oven and BBQ did not light easily, the pool table could use some new felt, and initially some confusion with the alarm system (whether it was enabled or not). Overall an amazing house and definitely one our whole group would recommend.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home with a great view and easy beach access. This house was perfect for our family and two more, there was enough space so nobody felt on top of each other. My advice to people who stay there. If you have large group you will go through more trash bags, laundry tablets and dishwasher tablet than are provided so make sure you get those things. Especially if you plan to cook all your meals like us. The hotub was locked and I did not find the code, so I did have to call for that… just little minor things. We had a great time and would stay there again for sure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I spent 5 days here and we had a great time! The house had plenty of room for us all, it is well kept and was super clean. I was so pleasantly surprised with the look, since we’ve stayed in other places before that did not live up to the pictures posted, that everything was just as described or shown on the pictures we saw before booking the place. The house is not right up on the beach but is only a few feet away! A short walk and my feet were buried in the sand any time I wanted. Super close distance to the grocery store so we could make a quick run at any time for any needs. It’s also close to the cute little shops in town and a short drive from the outlet mall which the teenagers enjoyed. The kitchen is amazing and so spacious to accommodate everyone coming and going all day long to have snacks or prepare meals. Everything we needed was there. It was nice to be able to divide the kids and the adults spaces. The kids spent a lot of time in the theater room or playing upstairs while the grownups could spend time in the kitchen/living room area. This house is gigantic and it does take a minute to get from one place to another but most everything you might need is within reach! There are several restrooms so you don’t have to go from one floor to another to find it. Each bedroom had its own bath which made me feel like I was in my own private space! The third floor did seem to get a bit warm but that was to be expected with all the sunlight it gets. We opened the windows a bit and the cool sea breeze cooled it right down to a comfortable temp. The view from the top floor was amazing. We loved sitting there to watch the sunset a couple of nights when the sky was clear. We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t wait to go back!

Awesome house. The beach is right across the street. Short walk to the casino and coldstone icecream

This house is great for a few families to rent together! Right near the beach with a nice balcony view. A 7 minute walk to the casino! Easy check-In and check-out. Huge kitchen. Nice backyard for the kids to run and play. Big hot tub (Most of the jets didn’t work, but that wasn’t a huge deal to us). The stairs are wide and steep, and we had two toddlers around 1 years old that you had to watch closely. A standard baby gate is way too small for the stairs. Not an issue just a heads up if you plan on bringing mobile babies. Would definitely stay here again! Things I would consider adding: -Cleaning spray to clean up spills and counters after cooking -More garbage bags for the big kitchen can -Maybe a service check on the dishwasher, didn’t seem to really clean the dishes

Spring Stay 2021

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house fit our needs and most things were clean and well kept. The location of the house was great, and it accommodated our group of 12 with kids. We were bummed that we specifically rented a house with a hot tub and it was very dirty and not filled to a normal level. The AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat over the weekend as well and we pretty much had to stay on the main floor or first floor until it cooled off in the evenings.

A few too many let downs

Too many things kept happening to disappoint us. The place was not clean. For example: one of the kids, while walking around, ended up with a wad of hair stuck between his toes. The kitchen was seriously lacking in seasonings because there was no salt! Not even garlic salt. What bothered me the most was the missing blinds and curtains in the bunk bed room. That place got way too bright way too early and woke up the kids before anybody wanted that to happen. There also were zero mattress covers in that room and with Covid going on I would consider that a necessity. The dishes looked dirty too- perhaps a residue from the dishwasher though? And lastly, checking in wasn't smooth because we were given the wrong door code. The location is wonderful, it's a great house plan for lots of guests, but it needs some attention to detail. Towels were bright white and soft, but bed linens need an update as do the pillows.

location and quality of the property was great. There were some maintenance issues that need to be addressed - no blinds in the kids bunk room which is on the ground floor, doors to one of the decks seemed to be broken. The house was very clean on first observation, but when we went to use some things in the kitchen they were not clean (the bread board was dirty, the waffle maker and a couple of other cooking grills were greasy). The house is laid out in a very functional way for a family.

Great amenities if everything worked properly.

Property clean & spacious; but the hot tub didn’t get hot, bbq didn’t get hot enough either & was disgusting- looks like grease traps never been cleaned. Balcony doors difficult to open. Pots & pans are old & Teflon scratched (toxic) - not my idea of chefs dream as titled. Basically none of the TVs worked for one reason or another- or got 3channels. Device in theatre room to play Netflix cut out on our kids movie night .

Amazing home

We had 2 families stay during 4th of July. The trip and location were wonderful. We walked to the beach every morning, afternoon, and had bon fires each evening. Having several easy access spots was nice to avoid others. The weather was amazing the entire trip and it's definitely a place we will want to come again. A couple of things were frustrating.... There was NO chalk for the pool cue's making it impossible to actually play a game! The wine fridge doesn't actually work, and there wasn't a sign saying this. Since the property is called Chef's Dream, we expected the seasonings to be refilled and an easier time finding the correct cookware.

Reviewer Comments: The house is really nice just nothing works, hot tub wasn’t working, garbage was already full when we got there, the oven wouldn’t turn on, ice machine was also not working, sink garbage disposal was also not working, the grill outside would not go above a certain temperature, the pool table had missing balls. The nice thing was maintenance came out second day we were there and was able to fix most things. The reason we rented this place was for the hot tub and location.
