Great location, Good spot

Plain & simple its a decent room at an excellent location for any Palm Beach event. Everything is clean & the bed is quite comfortable. The building is quite old, so some things are a little strange (like actual keys used) and a little creaky (air conditioning & minifridge are noticably loud) Overall was a good stay! Wish the parking was a little less complicated, but there were plenty of spots!

Cute but small

The location was nice. Close to alot of nice restaurants. However, parking was inconvenient. I can't walk long distances so this was an issue for me. I thought the beach was alot closer to the property but its a bit of a walk. If walking is not an issue for you, then you shouldn't have an issue. The room was alot smaller than I expected. More of like a hotel room. But it was clean. The condo building itself was pretty with the exception of the old mold like smell in the hallways. But the room did not smell. It was very quiet which we appreciated. So if the size of the room and the walk aren't an issue, then this rental should be fine.

Not great, but OK

The room: Not great. It is tiny so do not feel you can spread out at all. The ceiling is cracked, the view is better with the curtains closed. On the upside the bed was comfortable and things seemed clean. The Hotel: Overall it is an OK place. Very dated and it looks like my uncle Joe painted the walls in exchange for a case of beer, but not horrible. The hallways are a bit dark, but they have good security at the entrance. The Pool: Awesome, simple as that. Great covered and sunny areas, excellent garden. Parking: Just don't. So the place has a parking pass BUT you have to park pretty far away during the day. The pass is not good for any spots that even touch the same block as the hotel. The front desk will give you something they claim is a map of where to park, but it is so pixelated and blurry it is useless. We just googled the street names on the parking pass and figured it out. The Beach: You might be able to walk to it. We drove to the public beach access because 1) we could 2) we could not find closer access. If you really can walk to the beach it would have been nice to know which of the many "No Trespassing" gates we were allowed to walk thru. Communication: This is poor. The written materials were awful (see parking above), we had no clue which beach access was allowed, the building shut off power and water for part of our trip. This one really sucked. Signs all over AFTER you check-in and get past the secure door stated that the power and water would be off for a whole day. So yes we had a nice rainy day with no power or water. It looked like those signs were up for a while. The host could have said, "FYI on Tuesday there will be no water or power, might be a good day to spend on a charter or something". Instead, my wife just hung out in the covered area by the pool and went to the corner drug store to use the bathroom. This was very bad timing for us as I was in seminars all day so she planned to just hang out in the hotel library (no lights) or the pool or beach (raining). A heads up would have been nice.

Excellent historic venue

This was a lovely stay. The room was perfect for my husband and I. The parking was not far (2 blocks) and we were walking distance from nearly everything. The accommodations in the room were great! Having beach towels and chairs available was a great perk.

Review of hotel

This was a great hotel for a two person stay in Palm Beach! It was a good location and close to the beach. The parking was kind of far away and we had a lot of walking. Other than that it was good!

Awesome location!

The building is vintage and has a great vibe! Check in was a breeze and our stay was problem free. Only reason I rated it 4 stars overall is the parking situation, but that is of no fault to the hosts. They provided a parking pass, just had to park a short distance away from the building.

This is old. Paint coming off ceiling, electrical outlets old toilet kept running, the shower bar was rusted. Had no place to park at public beach area—had to walk 30 minutes and not a lot of walk to eating. Won’t be recommending

Can't beat the location!

We had a great time and will definitely be back. The location can't be beat, especially for the cost! There was towels and beach chairs available and a fridge and everything that we needed. The room and location is a bit dated and there wasn't a ton of room, but that doesn't bother us at all because we really only slept there. The bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that the AC unit is loud, definitely made it tough to sleep, but you could also just shut it off if need be. For the money this place was terrific. Thank You!

The place is a great deal in a great location. The check in process involved some confusion. Apparently they went informed I was coming. There was a parking pass included which is important because parking is an issue in this area. The person at the desk didn't realize the room came with a pass when I checked in. Good thing I asked another person at the desk the next morning.

Great location!

Loved walkable location! Parking was a little tricky to figure out! (Maybe update map at front desk). Dated building but we expected that! Pretty pool area. Beach chairs in room but didn’t get a chance to use them .

Overall Very Nice

I have no real complaints about my stay at this property. Check in was a breeze, we were a little early but the front desk of the building was able to take our number and call us as soon as the room was cleaned and ready for us. The facility was a historical building so it definitely had it's quirks but you learn to love the charm. Parking was a little tricky at first but we knew it would be prior to booking and it isn't hard to get the hang of. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I will say the view was not as expected as all we could see was the roof of the building. This property would be ours of choice if we were to ever return to Palm Beach.

We love this historic building and its location. The feel of generations of Palm Beach guest with modern updates. We loved returning to Palm Beach area for work and staying in such a quiet easy going place when we where done and just walk to eat, pray, shop & relax beachfront sold us. The historic building and convenience to the grocery store, fine dinning, shopping boutique & consignment. Beach activities, churches, synagogues and biking and walking the historic beautiful neighborhoods. Can walk or bike to the beach, dinner or museums.

PARKING
Just to orient you regarding parking prior to arrival: Pull up in front of the hotel and use short-term parking to unload and register. Next, go to PH 8 to drop off your gear and get our parking placard. Then head back down to move your car. This map shows the 83 spaces where our placard can be utilized for free parking that doesn't require you to move your car for the length of your stay. Or come and go as often as you wish as long as you re-park in designated areas and hang the placard from the rearview mirror. The hotel location on Sunrise Ave is the gray rectangle shown in the bottom RH corner of the map.

POOL
Pool Hours are dawn to dusk. Association staff will sanitize the pool chairs periodically throughout the day, and all persons using chairs are urged to sanitize the chair prior to use, with the wipes provided. All persons utilizing pool chairs do so at their own risk.

MASKS
For the safety of all owners, residents, guests and staff, the Association continues to require the wearing of masks or face coverings at all times while in the interior common areas, including but not limited to lobbies, hallways, social room, library, and elevators. Masks are not required if outside and social distancing is possible.

QUESTIONS? IMPORTANT BUILDING INFORMATION

There can be confusion on who to turn to with questions. The staff can provide basic building details as a courtesy but we, the condo owners, are ultimately responsible for the supplies, comfort and quality of your stay. The housekeepers you may see in the hallways do not service our condo and the staff downstairs cannot fix or replace or attend to problems in our unit. Any needs or concerns about 352-748-2017
