Ewww!!!!
Nasty nasty nasty!!! Upon arrival (after hours) we instantly noticed the floors were still dirty, hair and dirt was still in the jacuzzi tub, and there was dried BLOOD in both bedrooms on the walls! They were in areas that could easily be avoided so we decided to not disturb those areas and I would call in the morning to get it cleaned. We then decided to get in the hot tub with our children where we discovered broken class in the bottom. (after calling the next morning we was assured they dumb and refill after each use… there is no way that happened and the glass wasn’t found at that time) Still, we tried to enjoy our time. By this time it was really late and we we’re all just ready for bed… we attempted to get our children settled only to discover more nastiness on the “clean” blankets! We finally found 1 blanket that was clean although it had holes all in it. I called first thing the next morning to the main office where the lady I spoke with was very helpful and did send fresh blankets for the next night . She also didn’t charge us the pet fee that we was apparently supposed to be charged although we was never told about this fee when we had spoken to then previously and told them we would be traveling with our pet. She said she wasn’t going to charge me that fee for the inconvenience. We left for breakfast and came back to all those problems fixed only to find more nasty problems around the rental… after doing our family outing for the day we returned (once again coming in late and the office was closed) to discover yet again more BLOOD had not properly been cleaned up. This time we noticed it was on the BED we had been sleeping in!!!!! Not directly on the sheets we were sleeping on but it’s was covering the mattress cover under the thin sheet we had been sleeping on! We only discovered this because one of my children accidentally pulled off the top sheet. The mattress cover hadn’t even been removed and washed after someone had an accident on the bed. They just simply covered it up with a “clean” sheet! I’ve never felt more gross!!! We also noticed this night that under the sink where they keep the clean towels that they were nasty and looked like they had never been wiped out! We called the office again the next morning and complained yet again. They offered to give me back $75 on my card again for the inconvenience. Fact is this room needs a good cleaning and fast! We will not stay again!

Good
Easy to get to and pretty close from the main strip in pigeon forge. Clean and well prepared cabin upon arrival. Check in process was painless. Even received a call on the trip there that the cabin was ready and that an email with the info to get in was sent to me.

Not very clean
I gave this 2 stars only because the staff was very friendly! How ever the chalet had many problems and was just dirty. When we arrived it was about 9:00 pm at night, I went threw the chalet quickly to make sure everything was up to par. Both bathrooms were gross and had all over in both showers and sinks and the tub in the room. It look like the chalet hadn't even been cleaned! I called the emergency office and let them know what I found, the chalet was also suppose to come with 12 towels and 7 wash cloths, we had 8 and 6, nor did the chalet come with dish soap or dishwasher cleaner as stated when I reserved the chalet. I let the lady know when I talked to her about all this. They sent the cleaner right away which was awesome, but she only cleaned the bathrooms and used 3 of our washcloths!! She didn't bring any towels or dish soap just dishwasher cleaner. I called the office the next morning and let them know what else I found and to let them know I never got my towels or dish soap, she asked if I could come come pick them up from the office and I agreed. I never made it to the office due to our plans we had and the office already being closed. The bed sheets and pillow cases and hand towel in the main bathroom were definitely not cleaned they had like a body odor smell on them. The hot tub was dirty and gross, the bottom of it had a slimy film on it and a crack on the side that scratched my boyfriends back. I would of just emptied the hot tub and CLEANED and refilled it but there was no hose! Even tho in the hot tub instructions it does say to fill the hot tub if not at the right level to work properly. The door way to the hall way had cobwebs in the corners. The pool table room was a mess. There was black marks all over the walls and when I say all over I mean all over. The baskets that hold the balls fell every time a ball landed in them. The burner covers on the stove looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, they was black rusted and had a-lot of black crud and food on it. Cig buts left in bucket for grill ashes. Over all out dated chalet. We come to Piegon Forge at least 2-3 times a year. I will never rent from Fireside again.
