About this property

Paradise Found - a Greek Retreat with The View

Our ancient traditional stone built Kalivi (a small Greek farmhouse) is situated on the edge of Glossa, in Atheato, the oldest hamlet on the on the island of Skopelos.

In its own private grounds, we promise you will not be disappointed in the view out over a verdant green valley full of wild life and birds to watch.
From our terrace you can observe the harbour life, of Glossa Port (Loutraki) and view evening sunsets across the stretch of Aegean Sea towards Skiathos, Evia and the mainland mountains of Greece.

The open-air freshwater swimming pool is surrounded by our private garden of bee friendly flowers, grapes vines and ancient fruit trees.
We have oranges, lemons, tangerines, cherries, apples, pears, apricots, figs, pomegranates and grapes - all organically grown.

A wooden veranda and Pelion slate terrace runs the full length of the kalivi giving extra shade with an outdoor dinning table, comfy chairs, a coffee table and cushioned seating.
Should you wish to cook al fresco an electric bbq is provided, including a couple of hammocks amidst the courtyard of fruit trees.

As a fully equipped self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge- freezer, a full size oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a dishwasher and a washing machine for your use. All water is solar heated.

There is an extendable dinning table, 4 upright chairs and 2 sofas in the main room, with a TV, music cabinet of CD's, DVDs, books to borrow, maps, binoculars and games/ cards to play should you wish.

Our main double bedroom with a king-size bed, mosquito net and 2 bedside cabinets, lamps etc has an ensuite w/c huge solar powered shower and wash basin, entered via a dressing area with a full length mirror, double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Should you require additional sleeping space during your stay we offer the use of the 'old kalivi' - with original beamed ceiling, tiles and authentic fireplace.
This has a single bed, a sofa bed, double wardrobe, and another ensuite w/c large shower room and vanity unit wash basin. This studio has its own front door, but is attached to the main living room via a lockable door. It will not be let separately although usage and access is allowed at an additional cost to cover cleaning and bed linens etc.
Please email the owner for authorised access.

Toller Urlaub!
