There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is off-road parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with a lawn, patio and hot tub. Stackyard House is the perfect house for a memorable family holiday year after year.

Town: Tucked away just outside of Spennymoor lies Tudhoe, a peaceful village resting at a backwater running down to the River Wear. The village is home to a tranquil green and cul-de-sac, as well as a handful of shops, two pubs and a restaurant. Nearby is the town of Spennymoor, which hosts Spennymoor Town Hall and Art Gallery, and just a short drive will take you to the city of Durham, renowned for its magnificent cathedral. There are plenty of walks to be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside in Tudhoe Pinewood and Cow Plantation Nature Reserve.
