Lovely home with a few issues
The home itself was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is large and nicely kitted out. The bathroom is quite nice, with a large modern shower and separate tub. The furnishings throughout the house are top notch, and all contribute to making this a very nice wee home for a stay in the East Neuk. We did have a couple of issues. The photos and descriptions make this property seem as if it will be a secluded country lodge. It is not. It is directly on the main road and the wide entrance pictured in front of the gate is often used by commuters to park or turn around. As a result, it is a bit noisy. Also, we were looking forward to using the gardens for rest and relaxation outside. However, the front, rear, and side gardens were all overgrown with weeds and brambles, etc. I'm all for a slightly "wild" garden but these were simply unmaintained, which was disappointing. Overall, we liked the property, but would like to see some improvement before returning.

Excellent
Interior was of a high standard, obviously designed by a person who knows what they are doing. From Robert Welsh cutlery, Bosch kettle and toaster, Marble worktops, Pushka antique brass knurled handles to cabinets, Berber carpets throughout, copper bath, Bayswater fitments to a carrara marble tiled shower all with clever light details this accommodation excels. The attention to detail from radiator pipe covers in antique brass to the LT co. body wash this was a very good find. Many thanks Ian
