Family home in Brecon Becons
We had a lovely stay here. Easy location to get to. House with three bedrooms and a sofa bed In lounge to sleep 8. Nicely furnished. Clean. We were two families staying with a total of 4 kids. There was plenty of room. The sofa bed is a little narrow for two adults. Kitchen clean. Lovely fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The coffee machine takes very specific pods which are not stocked in the local shops. Dining table expands so all can sit round. Lovely feature. Good shower. Lots of hot water. Nice bedding and towels. Has a lovely play park and cafe at the end of the road which is a short walk. Feedback- could do with a welcome book with all the key info such as wifi code, when bins go out, how to use the heating etc. as there is very little mobile phone signal here. WiFi is good. Take a photo of the code for the door before you get there. Also needs a lamp in the sitting room for the evening. Will definitely come again. It was really lovely and just as the description. People are really friendly. 25 mins to the lovely sandy beach. Easy to get to some walks in the countryside. Lots of swimming pools to chose from. Good family home to stay in. The text communication with the owner was really good.

Great location to explore the area
Lovely spacious house, has everything you need. Beds were comfy and shower piping hot. garden is small but adequate to sit out and dine etc. We took our 2 year old grandson away for 2 nights so we could take him to the Monkey Sanctuary and Dan-y-Ogof caves and dinosaurs which are close by. He had a great time. Thank you Kate.

Golwg Y Mynydd, Brynteg, is set in the perfect location to explore South Wales, whatever you are seeking from your stay.

As hosts, we take time to ensure the house is warm, cosy and welcoming for our guests.

It is officially summer as the CUCKOO has arrived and the bluebells are in full bloom!

For those looking for fun and adventure, the house offers a great base for exploring Waterfall Country, the Brecon Beacons and Gower Peninsula. A haven for those that enjoy hiking and biking, Bike Park Wales, Route 43, W2 Trail (The Wall and White's Level) are close by. At the foot of the Brecon Beacons, the famous Pen Y Fan and Cribarth moutnains are on your doorstep with Pontsticill, Blaen-y-Glyn, Usk and Craig yr Aber Circular, dog friendly hiking and biking trails are near. Dulais Valley Quad Biking is less than a mile away.

If waking to birdsong and enjoying a cup of tea, coffee (or something bubbly!) sitting in the garden, whilst Red Kites fly overhead, then this is the place to stay. Visit in the late Spring (April) and hear the cuckoo's call before the Swallows pay us a visit in the summer months. If animals are of interest, Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary within 3 miles.
