About this property

Nani Kai Hale 501 | Amazing Views, Private Balcony

When you look at the photos of Nani Kai Hale 501, you’ll almost be able to feel the gentle Pacific breezes, revel in the silky sand underfoot, and taste the sweet pineapple on your lips. Welcome to your full immersion into the joys of Maui!

When you ride the elevator up to your fifth-floor condo and step into your comfortable home away from home, you’ll be dazzled by your beautiful ocean view. The view will draw you out onto your lanai- large enough to accommodate four! What a pleasure it is to sit and enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine as you listen to the sounds of island life.

You’ll love the light, bright rooms at Nani Kai Hale 501. Between the sliders heading out to the lanai and the large windows in your main living area and bedroom, you’ll feel engulfed in the island’s beauty.

Your Nani Kai Hale 501 living room features a large couch that pulls out into a queen-sized sleeper sofa if you are traveling with a second couple or children. Cool tile floors feel so good on feet that are tender from walking on the beach. If you aren’t out enjoying your beautiful community pool, playing on the beach, or seeing the sights of Maui, you may want to turn on your flat-screen TV with cable and DVD player. You also have free Wi-Fi within Nani Kai Hale 501 and a CD player, so you can fill the room with your favorite tunes.

Your dining table is located off the side of the main living area and seats four. You’ll love dining at this table and looking out at the ocean view through your window. Or, better yet, take steaks or seafood down to the community grilling area and have a picnic by the ocean. You also have a small table and four chairs on your lanai if you’d like to dine outdoors at your condo.

You have a full kitchen with all the equipment and serving ware you need at your command. However, if you prefer to dine out every day that’s certainly possible. There’s no shortage of excellent restaurants along the Maui coast. You can try a different wonderful restaurant every night if you want.

During your days, you’ll want to soak up some sun either by our beautiful pool or down on the silky sand beaches where the gentle waves lap along the resort’s property. If you visit between November and May, you’ll be at Nani Kai Hale 501 during whale season. Whale viewing is especially great at the season’s high point between January and March. You may also want to try your hand at surfing or boogie boarding. You have so many possibilities.

At day’s end, after you’ve watched the sunset from your balcony or down at the beach, you’ll be ready to slip into your bed and get some rest. You have a TV in your bedroom along with nightstands with reading lamps and a dresser. As you think about all the fun you’re having at Nani Kai Hale 501, you’ll quickly fall into a restful sleep.

Nani Kai Hale 501 has two bathrooms for your convenience (at this time one of the bathrooms is under remodel and locked off to the guests). You'll find the bathroom stocked full of fresh towels with a convenient shower/tub combination. Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying some strong Kona Coffee out on your lanai. What a glorious way to start your day.

As an added convenience, you have shared washer/dryer facilities right within your complex so it’s easy to clean up your wet swimsuits and be ready for your next day at the beach.

Escape to Nani Kai Hale 501 for the vacation of a lifetime. Book your plans now then start dreaming of all you’ll do in Maui.

Great location but many shortcomings in this unit
The location is great and the people in the building are amazing. We unexpectedly did not have access to the second bathroom. Was told it was under renovations after 4 days of waiting for access. None of the blinds work well, missing slats and broken cords. The “mattress” is 2 foam slabs on a box spring and needs to be readjusted routinely to stay together. The blankets for the pull out have multiple stains. The modem needed to be replaced during our stay. Being without wifi was challenging and giving up part of a day to meet the cable company while on vacation was disappointing. The tub and shower are by far the biggest downfall. The tub is looks filthy and has a “bubble” in the bottom that shifts when stepped on making it unsteady and loud to stand on. When we arrived half of the shower nozzles worked, I was able to open a few more with a cleaning pad but also should not be on the renter. The shower handle is covered in glue leading me to believe it’s cover has come off and not been replaced. Just overall unkept and subpar.

Perfect beach paradise!
Unit is just as advertised. Great beach and pool. Our favorite spot was sitting down on the lawn by the beach after dinner enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. Great barbeque facilities. Would definately recommend!

Hats off to our property manager!
This unit was an absolute dump. First of all it was filthy leaving the bottoms of your feet black . The shower valve was broken, the Sheetrock was broken around the bedroom entryway. The main ac/heating unit was broken and the temporary one that was in the bedroom was obnoxiously loud. The ceiling fan didn’t work and had a paddle broken off. The door to the lanai was broken and would not open. The door to the main closet was also broken. The microwave also didn’t work properly. There were no bath towels. We were heartbroken and couldn’t reach the property management company until Monday. I must say that once we did finally contact them they were quick to move us to a very lovely unit at another property. It was a few miles away and we had to double back to spend time with the two other couples we were vacationing with but it was a lovely property. Everyone involved needs to do a better job of vetting the properties they represent as it did cost us two days of our vacation.

“Just alright” for the price you pay
Great location and clean for the vacation however this place needs a lot of repairs. Be careful because it says 1 bed, 2 bath but in small font states only 1 bath. The second bathroom is locked and you’re unable to use it. Things broken: *toilet flusher - sometimes it doesn’t want to flush. You have to mess with the handle and hope it flushes. I tried fixing it inside but unable to. *portable air conditioner broken in bedroom - it actually blows extremely hot air almost creating a fire hazard (since it’s plugged into the window, near a curtain). I tried fixing it but was unable and it was cool enough from the main AC unit in the living room to sleep for a young couple. * shower head handle - falls off when using it. * lights flicker in the kitchen *curtains/blinds are broken - extremely difficult to open and close *TV - (for kids) extremely slow *Bed - mattress was extremely uneven, when you sleep you roll into your partner * main back door slider is difficult to open/close. We read the reviews before buying and decided to give it a chance because the management made a comment about how they were going to fix things. Nothing was fixed.

Great beach!
The location of this property is good…it has great beachfront! The unit itself was mixed…all the window coverings need to be replaced, and a good window washing would help. Someone did come in to make a few repairs that previous renters had submitted. This unit is near the road so somewhat noisy. The bedroom ceiling fan has only one speed - too fast. There was no hairdryer and only one beach towel when we arrived, but the property manager brought both by later in the day. Even though this was a last-minute booking for a wedding, we don't feel we got good value for what we were charged.
