About this property

Incredible crazy cool canyon crib Spectacular views from grass rooftop hot tub!<br>

This home is an experience, artistic design, inside pond with koi, views out every window of the beautiful canyon. And a grass roof with stargazing, games, fire pit AND hot tub! Why stay in a single hotel room when you can have this entire home and property surrounded by mountains and red rock views!! Unwind and unplug in this hidden gem tucked away in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon. The last home at the very end of a historic road, hidden from even the locals! This home has even been boasted on the news.

Enter through a gated impasse, this special & unique home was built by a local artist around a 20 ft Rocky Mountain cedar log that supports the roof center. Massive rocks from the nearby creek, reclaimed logs, reclaimed colored glass, were used as part of the construction. Great room with kitchen, living room, dining room are built around a central koi pond enveloped by cacti and 20 ft tall tropical plants. A semi spiral cedar staircase leads to second floor sleeping mezzanine, with a master bedroom and 2 additional sleeping quarters off of the master bathroom.

There is a fire pit (for seasonal use) along with a hot tub, on the roof. Yes, you read that right! Prepare to get dizzy from the stars if you decide to, "camp out," on the upstairs lawn! Red rocks, natural springs and many National Parks surround the area with hiking trails right out your door.

There is a full kitchen with a working antique stove, a second bathroom downstairs along with a washer and dryer for convenience. WIFI is available along with options to login to your Netflix and Amazon accounts on the 55" Smart TV . There is an additional Smart TV upstairs as well as an extensive DVD library to choose from too!

Indian Gardens is a fabulous Cafe and Market 1/2 a mile away that is a lovely walk as well as the countless attractions, restaurants and destinations in the town of Sedona. Not to mention, the close proximity to Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and the many wineries in Page Springs. Something for everyone! Gain some perspective and peace in this beautiful Arizona treasure. Please do not feed the peacocks it’s not healthy for them thank you!

A perfect place
We’ve travelled all over the world and this is unquestionably one of the top properties we have ever stayed in. Robin was an awesome host who helped us avoid some of the issues in the Sedona area that came with the rainstorm and flooding that occurred when we were there. We hope we get to come back and stay longer.

Fairy Tale stay
My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Natures Inn and felt as if we were in a fairy tale. The home puts you right in the middle of nature and removes any thoughts of life's hustle and bustle. Some of our highlights were listening to the creek gushing down the mountain, the short hikes right from the home, feeding the koi fish and star gazing in the darkness. We also saw a family of deer and a few javalinas around the property. The living area was very comfortable and we caught up on some Netflix movies after our days of hiking in the comfortable living area. A five minute drive from the home is a great litte market with the best breakfast and coffee, I think we stopped there every morning. 😀 The place had everything you need and all the conveniences to make your stay perfect. To sum it up Natures Inn was retreat and good for the soul. Thank you Robin and Tracey for communicating and making our check in easy. BTW... Some of the other reviews mentioned the steps were a challenge but we found them pretty easy to get up and down and plus there is a walk way to avoid the steps that makes it real easy to walk up to the home.

Amazing!
Most unique and beautiful house we’ve stayed in! I was close to tears going through it when we first arrived, even better than the pictures! Remote, beautiful views, much more than we expected. We didn’t want to leave! So grateful the owners are sharing this experience with the world 💕

Magical
The house and property are unbelievable. It was like walking into a fairy tale. We spent so much time on the roof reading and enjoying the views. We had plans to do hikes and go into town most days but ended up just staying home because it was so relaxing and enjoyable. Highly, highly recommend staying here :)

Why they chose this property

We would ask "why not?" A one-of-a-kind unique experience in beautiful Sedona. Unlike other rentals we are "nestled" in a private canyon, private hiking, I guess privacy would be the word. The house is unlike others with the feeling like you are in the outdoors. Quiet, remote yet only 5 miles from the heart of Sedona.

What makes this property unique

PRIVACY!!! Nestled in the canyon surrounded by national forest. Rooftop fun playing cornhole on the grass or stargazing at night in a beautiful hot tub on the rooftop! Perhaps some morning yoga on the roof or in the middle of the red rocks in our canyon. Chose your delight! Close to town although you'll feel like you are in your own little world. A "must do" experience, nothing like it in Sedona.
