This modern apartment is 1 BD/1 BA and part of a historic colonial revival home in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara and convenient to everything that makes this one of California's favorite destinations.

This property is a recently built addition to one of Santa Barbara's most beautiful historic homes. (Selected as part of the 2020 tour of historic homes). The second-floor unit is private, fully self-contained, and has lovely views of the Santa Ynez Mountains with old-world magnolia and fig trees surrounding the area.

This quiet area is fenced in with a vegetable garden, two chairs, and a BBQ where you can relax and read a book. You enter the unit through your own private stairway to a unique combination of colonial charm and modern convenience.

Come sit in the comfortable living/dining room area adjoins the large, open kitchen with plenty of space, light, and everything you need to cook magnificent meals. The living room has a 27' flat-screen smart TV with standard cable, where you can load all your favorite apps and great internet for streaming your favorite shows. There is a comfortable couch for resting, reading, conversation, or just being cozy. There is also a small desk for work (if you have to!) or staying in touch with friends and family!

The bedroom features a King-size bed with a large dresser and plenty of closet space, plus a small TV with standard cable for convenience. The bathroom joins the bedroom and has a walk-in shower, storage space, and plenty of charm.

Location: Prime Santa Barbara Location – A few blocks walk to downtown's famous cultural center (.5 miles) with State Street boutiques, entertainment venues, museums, restaurants, and nightclubs.

Fabulous home. Perfect location. Awesome hosts. Super stay
My husband and I stayed in this historical home for eight weeks through Thanksgiving and Christmas It was the perfect place to spend the holidays. The home is charming with all modern conveniences. It is clean, bright, and beautifully appointed with a lot of extras. A great fully equipped gourmet kitchen so holiday cooking was easy. Lots of storage with room for our bikes. Most comfortable bed. TV in living room and bedroom. Walking distance to State Street restaurants and shops. Fun, friendly, helpful hosts. We highly recommend this home and it'll be our go-to place in Santa Barbara.
