Sealodge Condo C8 - This 1 bedroom Kauai condo on the top floor is truly the penthouse unit. Unit has just completed a major remodel completed in November 2021.  This includes hardwood floors and new furniture for the new 55" LG LED Flatscreen. This marks the 4th major renovation for C8.  The last rennovation included: beautiful new granite counter tops, painted cabinets; custom sinks, IPE deck for the Lanai, new sofa, new curtains; new pillows, new professional paint job; accessories and decor throughout completed by professional decorators. Unit also includes: new luxury pillow top queen mattress for bedroom & twin bed for the punai, Berber carpet goes well along with the modern tile in the entryway, kitchen and bathroom. Unit has free WiFi and cable channels. An additional "view window" has been installed for amazing light house views seen also in living room and outside lanai. The windows open towards Anini Reef so the sounds of the ocean can lull you to sleep. Waterfalls and mountains seen outside the window of the fully equipped kitchen + washer and dryer in unit...a perfect honeymoon penthouse!

Top floor at SeaLodge = Awesome views + Whales
Saw whales the first morning from the balcony. That meant it was going to be a great visit. Princeville and SeaLodge are a great location to just disconnect and relax. The unit, being on the top floor, has an awesome view. My wife loved the daybed surrounded by windows overlooking the Pacific for an afternoon rest break.

Magical place
Whimsical first time we opened the door. Views are amazing and we woke up to watch green sea turtles w/ our binoculars while we drank our coffee. Close to grocery and food and lots of small local hideaway beaches in Princeville. It was sad to leave the condo. Geri was warm and funny and responsive. We will be back.

Couldn’t have a better view
We enjoyed our stay in Sealodge C8. You couldn’t have a better view of the ocean and Anini beach. The refrigerator and bedroom wall need some repairs and a coat of paint, but worked out fine. So nice to have a full kitchen and washer /dryer in the unit, though the washer needs balanced. We had to stand beside it to keep it still. Curtains & windows need a good cleaning, too, since the view is the major selling point. Just before we arrived we were notified they closed the pool. That was a bummer since the pool was advertised and something we were looking forward to. Check-in was delayed until 9pm waiting for unit to be cleaned, but it worked out since our flight was delayed. It was cool to see the albatross nesting on site, the surfers from our lanai, and we even experienced a sea turtle while snorkeling at Sea Lodge Beach. Overall a great stay and memorable trip.

Amazing șea views
Very comfortable condo. It is an order property but it is very comfortable, all that we needed was there, location close to supermarket, shopping and gas. I would recommend bringing some earplugs because the wave plus the rooster noise is really strong, I am not kidding here. Otherwise, we did not hear our neighbors at all, very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We would be happy to come back!

Overall great location, views, sound of the ocean was lovely. The living room and kitchen area was like the pictures. It was nice to have beach towels and a beach bag, too. However, the unit had mildew in the tub and on every curtain and the shower curtain, the curtain rods are rusted so that one set blew down on the middles of the night. I live in Hawaii, so I get it, it is damp and EVERYTHING rusts. But mildew can be controlled by simply washing the curtains with bleach (they are white). the shower curtain liner could be replaced for less than $10, and the tub needs new caulking. There were also holes in the wall in the bedroom where obvious,y a picture fell down, it was in the closet. Maybe they should just find a better property manager or cleaning team.

Loved the Location
The unit is in the Sealodge complex with plenty of parking. Each of its buildings are given a letter, so this unit is in building C with about 24 steps to climb to reach the front door. As shown on the listing, this unit has an unobstructed corner view of the ocean as well as a narrower view from its lanai. With the layout of the furnishings though (including the day bed up against the corner windows), it was hard to get the full impact of the ocean unless you're standing by or actually on the daybed. There is room for improvement with attention to cleaning. We found the LR and bedroom windows with very visible spots of dirt and the curtain was noticeably soiled. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and you can't beat the location.

We have traveled to Kauai numerous times and never tire of its beauty and friendly residents. We had a lovely time. The view in this unit was great - which is why we booked the condo. We tried to book their other unit first - which stated it was available on 2 sites for quite a bit less money and had all new appliances, cabinets and a newly retiled bathroom. I tried to book it on the less expensive site and it said must contact owner. When I did, they recommended another unit (which happened to be theirs too - but they were not forthcoming with that) because the other one I wanted had just booked. I understand that can happen. Unfortunately the unit they recommended was more money and lacked the major updates of the first unit I tried. The furnishings, which are updated and cute, as well as new sink tops and the wood-look vinyl flooring are all nice, but nothing else was really on a par with those. If things like a tub that is really stained and molding all the way around under the caulk, a screen door that is ripped and doesn’t work well or have a handle, a rusty old refrigerator, a dryer that has a rope for a handle and a really old rusty washing machine would bother you, then you probably would want to book a different unit. Also, the bed is not as stated; it does not feel like a pillow top. It is a very firm and not very comfortable. We didn’t cook or use the appliances, so it really didn’t affect us and our overall experience. We were just happy to be there and to be able to relax. I just know this would really bother some other people. I think the owners are trying and if they complete the aforementioned upgrades it will be great. The cleaning people are good. They did a great job. Also, be aware that if you cannot lift luggage up a short steep hill and 3 flights of stairs, this unit won’t be a good fit.

Beautiful Views and Beach Access
This place was exactly as described. Amazing views all around! We really enjoyed our stay. The condo could use some upgrades as others have stated but it had all of the basic essentials we needed. Plenty of cool air flow throughout. Would definitely stay here again. We loved the beach access after the short hike through the forest.

A Princeville Treasure
This property is accurately advertised on line. We enjoyed or stay. The view was stunning. A short drive to markets, restaurants and shops is very convenient. The hosts were prompt answering last minute questions. Lovely place!

loved this place. amazing view. very quiet. great example of the very best in1970's contemporary architecture... it's good to see that it is being maintained in the harsh Hawaiian environment. The daybed in the glassy corner is so inviting! Note that you do have to climb some stairs to the unit but are rewarded with the awesome top floor view. Helpful note - if you need to print a parking pass we found that tech-808 in Princeville center has walk in printing services.

Unforgettable Views
The condo has excellent views of the ocean and is in acvery quiet area. We ventured to the Sea Lodge beach and found a beautiful beach all to ourselves. The condo is clean but could use some updates, such as the tub fixtures and paint. Thanks for great memories.

Great views just as advertised!
There are five short flights of stairs getting up to the unit, so if you have heavy luggages or groceries, be prepared for a workout. But it's so worth it, once you get up to this unit on the top level with views of the ocean on one side and views of the mountains in the distant on the other. The decor is tasteful and the amenities fit our needs. The host is communicative and responsive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Crow's Nest Views!
Fantastic views from all windows. Beautiful and unique older-style condo complex on well-manicured property. Very cozy with great Princeville location. Enough cookware to prepare simple meals well. Had to keep windows closed much of the time due to strong wind and rain, but this is due in part to the high location of the condo (panoramic ocean, beach, and mountain views) and the North Shore weather.
