This truly unique vacation retreat is known as 'Bird Rock Ranch'—the largest lot in La Jolla's desirable Bird Rock neighborhood. It is a sprawling 1.2-acre rustic ranch with an authentic "old Hawaii" feel that includes four bedrooms, three full baths, a huge patio, and many large indoor/outdoor living spaces. The back 'park' area includes a palapa, a 5-station outdoor yoga studio w/ stage, and a large enclosure with a friendly sulcata tortoise from Africa.

Other features include a beautiful custom swimming pool, cabana with couches and a big-screen TV, bamboo fencing, firepit, big flat-top grill, living wall, fountain with fish, and two friendly large tortoises.

I stayed here with a big group of friends. We had a great experience. The property was even better than pictured. Very large indoor and outdoor spaces. Excellent location. Recommended.
