Love NOLA.. Don't Love Construction
The house was very nice but when i asked about a close trolley stop the information provided was inaccurate. The closest working site was on Canal and Broad which just under a mile away. Not blocks like i was told. Never saw they bikes and the yard in the back was uncut and unkept so we couldn't use it like we thought we would. the park space was not always available because of construction on the entire street the house was on. You had to turn on a barricaded street. I got a construction nail in my tire and had to spend Saturday morning getting that fixed rather than what was originally planned. I am not sure if the Host is not local and was not aware of the construction or the closed trolley stop but these are things she should have advised us of prior to our arrival. I appreciate her flexibility in letting us check-in early but other than the check in email we received, communication was non existent. We asked if the location had a blender before we arrived, no response. Just so you know ... It Does Not!!! I thought the listing stated 2 baths. In actuality it is 1 1/2 baths.
Don't get me wrong Terme is a great location to stay if you are ever in NOLA i just wish i could have been better prepared when i was in the decision process.
