About this property

~ 1 ~ Cost Effective Motel Inn Close To Red River Gorge

The Clay City Inn is the only budget friendly accommodations in Clay City, KY, located directly off the Mountain Parkway and 15 minutes away from the world renowned Red River Gorge within the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Unlike large motel or hotel chains, we own the inn and we live on the premises.  We take great pride in our cute and charming property .  Country hospitality, clean rooms, soft beds and friendly service are our main goals.  You'll be our guests and we want you to feel right at home.

We offer our guests WiFi, cable, microwaves and mini fridges and there is NO additional cleaning fee! Our parking lot can accommodate large trucks, UHAUL, oversized loads, campers and small RVs. The motel was recently placed under new ownership and Room 1 recently underwent a complete room renovation and further upgrades are planned to other rooms and grounds in the coming weeks and months. Weekly rates are available.

Room 1 is located at the front of the property on the main floor. This is NOT a pet friendly room. Please contact us directly if you would like to bring along a furry friend.

Girls night
I brought my daughters and a friend to natural bridge for the first time. We stayed here and it was perfect. The room is very accommodating. The location was perfect and close to all we had planned. The creative and fun vibe was perfect for us! Hope to return soon.

Very quaint, comfortable place.
Our room was so nicely decorated and in a fun Big Foot Theme. The owner is a Big Foot expert. Loved the firepit out back where we got to socialize with fellow travelers. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely stay there again.
