Nice place, good enough to stay here again!
The interior of the house was everything we were expecting—it was well-stocked and cleaned. The layout was good for socializing as a group. The exterior did not quite meet expectations as the yard is small and sloped, and most of the open space is occupied by the deck and parking space. There is no firepit, so the property description and what the host told us is inaccurate, and when the host was asked about this during the stay, no response was given (although responses were timely prior to the stay).

Overall our stay was good. The place was private and had a good scenery. Only thing I would recommend is take some sheets. The cleaning crew done seem to do good of replacing them. One of the beds had what looked like a blood stain on the sheets.

Unclean and understocked
This cabin in Gatlinburg TN looked amazing on the website. The house was large and the hot tub was nice. Every single bathroom had a dirty toilet and moldy shower curtains. When we arrived at the home that slept 18 the host had only left 6 towels. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, we washed everything by hand before we used it. One of the bathrooms didn’t even have a starter roll of toilet paper. The kitchen had most utensils needed for cooking but nothing in the way of basics such as salt and pepper. The host never responded to our messages on the VRBO app. I understand that they had “extra” check in instructions on the Venture Resorts website but if I book through VRBO the host should respond to messages via the VRBO app. The high speed internet that was offered would only support one device. No phone service at all. The internet service was so bad it feels like they shouldn’t be able to advertise that they have high speed internet.
