This amazing character home is positioned right next to the Park, provides the perfect place for your park side dream retreat with family and friends. The spacious home is in stylish decor surrounded by the nature. Sitting proudly elevated, you can enjoy beautiful views out over the park while relax in the pool or Jacuzzi. Enjoy the duck pond, playground or the sports field in the reserve.

Neighbourhood: Quiet neighbourhood with friendly school age children, working class and elderly people. Walking distance to the beautiful Ellerslie Village, enjoy the many award winning cafes and restaurants. Short drive to One Tree Hill and the nearby Beaches and enjoy what Auckland has to offer!

We are in a quiet neighbourhood. Quiet hours between 9pm - 7am must be respected. Disrespecting the quiet hour can result in termination of the booking.

Good place for large groups
The property was good with a lot of space. A few detractors that we experience are as follows. 1. They have listed as this place has a pool. It is only a small paddling pool and this was not put up during our stay. The owner did say they had to take it down due to bad weather. A paddling pool should be listed as that. And the picture doesnt quiet reflect the actual situation. 2. Spa was not very good. Was quite dirty. 3. The kitchen faucet was leaking. It was covered with a foil paper to prevent the water going everywhere. Everything else was ok. Might use this again if the above detractors are taken care of.

Misrepresented property.
Totally unimpressed and felt sorry for family over from Australia staying there. House not cleaned including wiped excrement on bathroom vanity, mould in showers, smelly internal rooms. No pictures advertised matched reality including bedroom descriptions. Host would not let me walk through prior to 4.00 pm arrival which means you are stumped trying to find anywhere else to stay. Cleaners arrived and spent almost 3 hours cleaning. Not enough kitchen dishes or the house set up for a holiday rental. No swimming pool as advertised and spa dodgy. Host was sympathetic and offered some compensation back but to no avail as yet. When you are paying a nightly rate of over $800 pn you expect some value for money. Emailed Bookabatch immediately and haven’t had a response. Hard to see how a complaint on arrival to Bookabatch would have changed anything? What are you expected to do when they have all your money prior to arriving at the property at 4.00 pm? and finding it unacceptable?? It has been a disappointing and costly experience for the family!
