About this property

Beautiful Waterfront Home

This charming oceanfront house, located on Spruce Head Island, is everything you’ve ever imagined Maine to be. There are beautiful views of Seal Cove, a tidal cove, from the numerous windows within the home. This 3-bedroom home is located on a quiet street with direct access to the water with custom granite steps to a private beach at low tide. Here you can explore to your heart’s content in the two kayaks that are available for your use. (life vests are made available for use)

Just imagine waking up to these amazing water views and the sound of the water outside. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds, and watching lobstermen pull their traps. Enjoy the warm summer sun shining on you, as you spend the perfect day on the deck reading a book, sipping cocktails with friends, or just enjoying the view. A lobster supper with friends, a glass of wine or cookouts with family while you enjoy the cool ocean breezes, and a magnificent sunset is a great way to spend the evenings.

The first floor has an open concept kitchen/living/dining area to enjoy spending time with your friends and family. There's a bedroom with a full bed and full bathroom with laundry that are also located on the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and a large full bath. The expansive deck overlooks the water and is outfitted with a barbeque and outside dining & sitting area.

We doubt you would ever want to leave this slice of heaven, but if you would like to stretch your legs a little, Rockland is a short car ride away and features many wonderful restaurants and shops, some great museums, and even a restored historic movie theatre. There are art galleries, golf courses, hiking trails & many islands to explore.

MidCoast Maine has something for everyone to enjoy, and the minute you step through the door you will feel right at home at this beautiful house. You’ll never want to leave!

Perfect long weekend stay!
We loved our stay here! Jennifer even let us check in an hour early which was suoer helpful, as we had a rehearsal dinner at 5:00. We were looking for a place for our family to stay for my brother’s wedding at Salt Water Fields. It was a 10 minute drive to the venue. The house and property were even more beautiful in person. There was plenty of room for the 4 adults and two toddlers. The house was very clean and kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed walking down to the water, searching for snails and rocks, just beware of the goose poop. They came to visit us every morning. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Exploring Penobscot Bay Area
We enjoyed hanging out at Seal Cove in between exploring Owl's Head Lighthouse, Camden Harbor, lobster cruise and Mount Battie. Favorite restaurants were Archers in Rockland and Waterfront in Camden.

My husband, myself, son and 3 of his young adult friends stayed here and LOVED it. The atmosphere of the home, the beautiful oceanfront setting and the relaxed vibe were perfect for our visit.

Perfect waterfront setting
The property felt very private. The big deck with outdoor dining table and comfy lounge area were shaded by big umbrellas and we spent most of our time outside. A stroll down to the water and a little beach for a swim and a kayak...wonderful way to spend a summer day. The kitchen was outfitted so well and much appreciated. And the views from bedrooms were dreamy. All in all a perfect stay. We felt very lucky to have found it.

Quiet home in the water
My family enjoyed our stay at this quiet property on the water. Loved the expansive lawn leading to the small beach and kayaking around the area. Will definitely consider staying again.

A better gem than you can imagine!
This was our family's first visit to Maine and we couldn't have stumbled across a more perfect location. This home looks stunning in pictures so we were excited before we arrived, but honestly it's somehow more beautiful in person. We traveled with small kids and they had the best time running around the yard and walking out to the private little beach every day to explore and search for treasures. The house itself was very spacious and served us perfectly. It had all of the amenities we could have needed from kayaks to beach supplies, to all the household necessities so that we didn't need to run to the store right away - after a very long drive. Very well stocked kitchen. Property owner was quick to answer any and all questions. We felt like we were in a hidden paradise the whole time. To top it off Mcloon's Lobster Shack was only 3 minutes down the road and was the best lobster shack we tried our whole trip. It's a must on your visit. Had lots of excursions in the area from Camden down to Boothbay with the kids and we were always happy to return "home" and sit on the deck as the kids went to bed. Truly appreciated what a magical and peaceful experience this was and are looking forward to returning one day. You wont be disappointed in this property!
