Welcome to 10 D Hickman Street!
OVERVIEW: Spacious bi-level condo with ocean views offers three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a large screened-in porch with ocean views, private parking for two cars, and only five homes from the beach. The screened-in porch has a lovely table for additional dining space, a game table, or a seafood feast night. Sleeping six people comfortably, this condo offers a shared washer & dryer and a well-equipped kitchen. **Note the ensuite bath has only a tub with a shower and a sink. There is no toilet in the master bath.
LOCATION: Oceanblock on Hickman Street. Quick walk to the boardwalk and beach. Only three blocks to Rehoboth Ave. Park and walk everywhere downtown.
PARKING: Off-street parking for two cars.
AMENITIES: Shared washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, cable TV, well-equipped kitchen, electronic keypad for easy check-in and check-out process, and shared outdoor shower.
THINGS TO KNOW: Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a linen rental program to guests. No pets and no smoking. The washer, dryer, and outdoor shower are shared. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great No Frills Beach House for Short Stay with Friend
We were a group of 6 adult friends who stayed at this house. The location is phenomenal--so close to the beach/boardwalk, and a quick walk to everything around Rehoboth Ave. Access was easy and it came with 2 parking spots. The house was bigger than we expected, and we especially liked the sun room. The kitchen was small, but we didn't cook many meals besides breakfasts there, so it wasn't too much of an issue. But it would be harder to do a big dinner. It had all the kitchen implements necessary. However, the kitchen wasn't the cleanest-- but this honestly wasn't an issue for us--we aren't super picky. When we tried to run the disposal on the last day, it wasn't working; our fault for not checking earlier! Beds/bedrooms were comfortable. We brought our own linens. Bathroom situation was a bit odd, but totally fine--it's accurate on the listing so we were prepared for that. It's no frills, but comfortable and a great value compared to a lot of other options in the area. Perfect for a long beach weekend with friends!

Property description online was not accurate.
The property’s living room furniture was outdated, torn and stained. The futon was not suitable for the seventh guest to sleep on. The coffee pot and silverware was dirty. The toilet ran because the flapper was broken. The upstairs bathroom got no hot water. There is only one shower in this house and yet was advertised as 3 bathrooms. The only functional bathroom had one dim light and a sink that the stopper was broken on. Everything is outdated which would be fine if it was clean. The property was initially said to have new linens but when I called to make sure, call it a hunch, the Re Max agent said it only had new bed quilts not new linens so I had to order a linen service. Also, the property smelled musty. It was disappointing to say the least. I will not rent this property again.

Great location, adequate house
The location can’t be beat, it’s seven houses in from the beach. Last year we stayed about a mile in and with small kids, beach equipment, grandparents, the close proximity made it a much better beach vacation. You are paying for the location. The property itself is adequate and comfortable enough, just know that you are sacrificing a roomier/nicer place for being right by the beach. The description of the property is accurate, so it was no surprise to us that the place was smaller and could use some updating. Ultimately, we would stay again and had an enjoyable experience.
