Could have been better
While Roberto was prompt at responding to our needs and requests, the property was quite misrepresented. The 3 reviews on VRBO gave glowing reports of the casa and that was not what we found. It is sorely neglected and needs some love and attention. The living room and kitchen were okay with a couple of nice art pieces but the bathroom is terrible and the bedrooms pretty substandard for what we paid and the reviews that were given to prompt us to book. The yard is unkempt and does not look like anybody has raked or cleaned it for some time. We were so very hot the first couple of days as most of the fans were not working though Roberto did have a competent repair man in who was able to fix a couple of them. He also installed some light bulbs as most of the light fixtures had none. There is potential with this accommodation but not without some concerted effort to do some renovations and attention to detail. The mattress in the main bedroom is ready for replacement and there needs to be some towel racks in the bathroom to hang towels. We did not even unpack our bags for the most part as apart from a few hangars, there was not closet or shelves in the main bedroom to put clothing. Overall, this was not a positive experience for our family.
