About this property

Tasman Seascape - uninterrupted views, stunning sunsets & direct beach access

Tasman seascape is a beautiful family bach on the cliff that has uninterrupted views of the magnificent west coast. This fully furnished 4 bedroom holiday home comes with a fully functioning kitchen, large dining room and a spacious lounge facing the ocean.
You can watch the endless sunsets sitting on the family bench built by our late Dad. Next to it is a walking track down the cliff with direct access to the beach.

Accommodation:
The holiday home contains 4 sea-view bedrooms with queen size beds. The 3 large rooms contain their own vanity with basin. There is a common shower and a toilet with hot water.

Activities:
Fishing, surfing, body-boarding, swimming, driving on the beach (4wd only), walks on the beach, canyon walks, etc. But please be aware of the tides/currents, the speed around the camps and exercise caution. If you are new to the region, you can always ask the very friendly locals.

Location:
Dargaville is 20 minutes away with supermarkets, shops, petrol stations, cinema and cafes. The nearest small town Te Kopuru is 10 minutes away with a four square. The famous Kai Iwi lakes is only a 45 mins drive from the bach.

Please note: The two pods outside and the downstairs "flat" are a separate listing not accessible with this booking. Please check out this link for our other listing: https://www.homeaway.co.nz/holiday-accommodation/p9549413?noDates=true&uni_id=8629110

Above average bedrooms, dining options and seating. Outstanding view of the ocean.
We all enjoyed our stay here very much. In our case we were the only guests on the property. There are 2 to 4 other units that might also be occupied. That might cause issues for parking and yard sharing. Beach access was a surprise as the property is well above the water - basically on a cliff. The path down was not easily found and would be difficult for those in poor health. But it is a short drive to arrive at this most excellent beach. Hard sand you can drive onto. Shallow water with waves to play in. Overall, this is a great destination.

Unbelievable Bach
Hesitant to recommend as it will become too popular and I may never get the opportunity to stay again 🤣loved the Bach the history and the family story! Sunsets like I’ve never seen and the sound of the waves was mesmerising! Wonderful to share your home with our local family which made our time so special! Thank you!
