Seaview Cottage. A cosy relaxing cottage, close to Mokau.

Gorgeous views, just north of Mokau. A great located property, next to State Highway 3 and lovely views of the sea and mountain. Heat pump heating and cooling. Sheets and towels provided. Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of town, fully equipped with everything you need to make your holiday relaxing, wether it’s a spot of fishing or a walk along the beach or watching the sunsets from the deck.

Really enjoyed the luxury of having lovely clean bedding and the cleaning included in the overall price. It makes it a real holiday. The modest Bach has been thoughtfully furnished to make it feel really beachy and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay.

West Coast Wonder!
My sister and I were on a bit of a road trip around parts of the central North Island and trying to see some of the lesser travelled parts. We had planned our trip to come directly west from Waitomo and down the coast. Mokau seemed to be the right place to stay a couple of nights and mooch about the beaches and learn a bit of local history. Maxine's bach suited our needs perfectly and came with a stunning view of the ocean as well as easy access to the beach across the road. During the day there was a fair bit of road noise from the traffic, especially the trucks but it quietened off a lot at night so it didn't worry us. The house was very clean and tidy with nice comfy bed's and great parking. I would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to my next visit down this way as I now know the good places to stay 😀 Alan.

The property of Maxine,s is the best in the area, as far as we are concerned. The views from every window is the wow factor. The property itself is very clean,Maxine went out her way to fix tv up for husbard, to watch the All Blacks. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks Maxine, muchly appreciated,
