Sleeping Accommodations: A Slopeside Getaway has four bedrooms, but one additional private sleeping area.
Main Level: Master King, Queen Room
Lower Level: Queen Room, Full Room, Room with two Twins

Located on Appalachian Ski Mountain, this beautiful 5 sleeping area, 3 bath home sleeps 10 and offers all of the comforts of high-end living.

The main level boasts a spacious living room with 20-foot high, exposed beam, vaulted ceilings, a gas log stone fireplace, 65 inch HD cable TV, a dining room that seats 8, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and stacked stone island with additional seating for 8. The main floor is surrounded by a huge wrap-around deck with gas grill and views of the ski slope on one side and mountain ranges on the other.

Also on this level are a full bathroom with granite counters, a bedroom with queen-sized bed, window seat and TV, as well as a spacious master suite with Aspen King bed with flat screen TV and a private bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate double shower and flat screen TV. The master suite has a huge walk-in closet large enough for a portable crib.

Downstairs is a second living area with gas log stone fireplace, 62inch cable TV and a second deck surrounded by privacy landscaping with a 6 person Hot Tub. This room also has several video arcade games including Golden Tee, a touchcreen game, and a bowling game called SilverStrike2009; and a foosball table. Adjacent to this living area is the game room with an 8 foot pool table and flat screen TV. Finishing out the downstairs level are a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a full bed, a private room with 2 twin beds, and a large full bathroom.

There are 2 separate driveways for parking.

Located near the entrance to Appalachian Ski Resort in Blowing Rock, convenient to skiing, hiking, shopping, golfing and all High Country attractions, this magnificent home will not disappoint you.

Please note that when Appalachian Ski Mountain is making snow, some snow is likely to blow across the road and onto the bottom portion of this home. Exercise caution when walking or driving around the property during these times.
This home is located at over 4200' elevation, and enjoys heavy snowfall in winter months. Guests visiting November-April must come prepared with 4WD or AWD vehicles and may possibly need chains during winter months.

Wonderful stay
The house smelled amazing when we arrived and was very clean. We had 3 families with 5 kids ages 1-6 & the games downstairs were the best for the rainy day!!! The kids had a blast playing downstairs. The only downside is the TV downstairs is very old and wasn’t working so the kids couldn’t watch a movie downstairs. The front yard is fenced in which allowed the kids to play in the snow while being safe. There was plenty of space, we had an extra bedroom downstairs that wasn’t used. We would rent this house again for sure!!

Thanksgiving slopeside
Property has plenty of space for comfortable sitting and dining. The pool table and video games were fun for the family. The location is great with easy access to blowing rock and Boone and Appalachian Ski Mountain. It was clean and has a fully stocked kitchen.

A perfect weekend getaway
My group of friends was looking for a cozy place to spend an extended weekend in the mountains, and we found it! The kitchen is well stocked (they had enough spoons for many cups of tea). The home itself is charming and cozy. We would absolutely visit again!

Beautiful Home
Our experience with this property was good. There were a few issues but nothing we couldn’t deal with. We cleaned a few areas to make things better for us personally and the issues we had Blue Ridge Rentals were informed of and are now aware. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! The customer service we received before and currently after are top notch.

Eh…off season rental
The property was as described. However, 2 of the 4 video games didn’t work, there were cobwebs everywhere, dead bugs/spiders(at least they were dead right), melted chocolate on the much needed to be replaced couches, near the stove were greasy utensils, and the biggest nest of hair on the shower wall in the master shower. Not sure when the last rental was, but I guess I was expecting better cleanliness. I’m sure it’s great if you’re with a bunch of adults going skiing and not there much. We visited in the summer with my small children, and just the thought walking on the carpet barefoot made me cringe. Probably wouldn’t rent this one again, although I really wanted to love it for future years.
