Bordering England and South Wales and the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire, there is much to do and see, with such variety its sure to have something for everyone.

The Forest of Dean is a magical place in all seasons and has outdoor activities in abundance, such as mountain biking, cycle tracks for all abilities, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, horse riding and for the less energetic relaxing walks amongst wildlife, flora and fauna. Puzzlewood, which has been used as a film location in Dr Who, Star Wars and Merlin, and Go Ape with its zip wires and climbing adventures are popular attractions. Historical interests include the castles at Raglan, Goodrich, Chepstow and Caldicott, and Hereford Cathedral with its Mappa Mundi Centre. Chepstow Racecourse is within an easy drive. Enjoy the local pubs and restaurants, and an award-winning pub in Newland is just a short walk away. There are many markets and festivals in the surrounding areas to explore. Shop 2 miles and pub 1 mile.

Bramble cottage
Lovely cottage with lots of woodland walks. You can take a short drive or leave the car at the property and go for walks from there. Children loved clearwell caves and puzzlewood. The property was quite and quintessential the perfect place to come back to settle by the fire after a long walk. Property was spacious and clean and was comfortable for the 4 of us.
