My review will be in two parts, condo and the resort
Townhouse Unit
We stayed there for the month of February and found the unit to be of a nice size for our family. As is most rental units it showing signs of wear and tear from people that don’ t care. It’s was comfortable and quiet. Very nice neighbour hood to walk in and a short distance to the clubhouse and pool. Unfortunately the unit was not properly cleaned before our arrival, the tile floors were very dirty and we had to wash them twice just to make them better. The carpets had also not be properly vacuumed with hair and fuzz in many areas which we also had to vacuum. There were also a lot of dirty dishes, pots and pans put back in the cupboards. Better care needs to done to ensure everything is cleaned properly before arrival of new guests.
The patio and pool area is very pleasant and nice to enjoy for meals outdoors as it receives a lot of shade in the afternoon. It was also very nice having the park like area in the back for our dog to enjoy.
I will say management team was excellent to deal with as there a few small issues that needed to be addressed. They were very quick to respond and correct anything that was brought up. We were very pleased with them!
The Resort Area
It is a beautiful resort with beautiful landscaping and a pleasure to walk around. The pool area feels like a all inclusive resort; without the “All-Inclusive aspect” For the most part the large pool is heated and the lazy river is not. I heard everyone that entered the last river complain of that. They could also use with more tube floaties as they almost always were used up. The resort could also do a better job of maintaining the consistency of the pool heat, some days it was nice and others it was cold.
Unfortunately there is only one manned gate entrance to enter the resort of approximately 1000 homes which makes it difficult to get in at certain times of the day. With the amount of homes the pool area can get quite busy and at some times closed off due to capacity having been met.
The location is not bad but but Interstate 4 which is the main route to get just about anywhere become a parking lot with the extreme traffic. At times travel time doubles to get to Disney. There is a nice local shopping area close by and easy to get to called “Posner Park” with a very nice Target, JC Penny, Homegoods, Marshalls and many other stores and some restaurants.
