About this property

Creekside Cabins - The Texan | Studio Layout with Creek Access!

Choose the Texan at Creekside Cabins for your ideal upscale Hill Country getaway! Conveniently located 1.5 miles from Wimberley Square, the Texan offers a queen size bed, a full kitchen, spacious living area, and plenty of outdoor space, including Cypress Creek access! If traveling in a group, make sure to check out the other Creekside Cabins located on the same property.

The adorable agave colored exterior of the home is a nice contrast from the inside. Reminiscent of Hill Country bluebonnets, lovely baby-blue shiplap cascades throughout the entire home as a modern take on an old Texas log-cabin. The main room at The Texan is as stylish as it is functional. A cowhide rug and cowboy wall art are complemented perfectly with mid-century modern furnishings, creating the ultimate modern west feel. Just a few steps away, the Texan kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. Prepare veggies and sides in the kitchen and toss some steaks on the charcoal grill for a classic cowboy feast! Enjoy your meal in the breakfast nook, or on a pleasant evening, step outside and dine on the porch while listening to the sounds of nature.

The bedroom at the Texan follows the modern west decor of the home with soothing blues and neutral tones. An extremely comfortable mattress and soft linens are sure to provide a good night's sleep. Similarly, the bathroom provides luxurious towels and calming neutral tones that will have you feeling restful in the evening and refreshed in the morning. As the day begins, enjoy your coffee in bed or step out onto the patio to marvel at the beauty of a cool Hill Country morning. For more privacy or to simply block the sun, pull the drapes around the porch. Take a stroll down to the creek and become mesmerized as the clear water ripples over the stones and giant cypress roots.

The outdoor space at Creekside Cabins is unmatched! Enjoy a fire pit, amazing views, provided seating, and creek access. Gather around the fire to roast s’mores, keep warm on a cool night, and for those late-night conversations under the stars. Bring along your fishing pole and teach the kids how to reel ‘em in! For more tranquil travelers, grab a good book and simply relax in one of the hammocks while listening to the flow of the creek. For a little friendly competition, bring yard games like cornhole and horseshoes and compete until dark, when the lighting bugs come out to play.

Spend the day in Wimberley, browsing the darling shops, delicious restaurants, and local wineries and breweries. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Jacobs Well and Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming, kayaking, and hiking trails.
Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. Visit the over 240 shops at the San Marcos Outlet for an endless day of shopping.
Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.
Further down the road, spend the day exploring Fredericksburg. Travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries, all within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. Great stay
Wonderful location, well appointed cabin. The bed is a Queen size, so do not read the “king bed” description in details. Check in was a breeze, detailed instructions. Easy check out. Beautiful interior. Highly recommend.

Last minute trip
Very nice accommodations!! Clean, updated, very nice. The water was a lot further away from the cabin than expected. A few problems… *The lighter For the grill is out so we were unable to cook dinner *The back porch light was out *The bathtub drain plug will not stay up so water will not drain. We stuck a spoon to keep it propped up. *A/C in bedroom doesn't cool as well as the one in the living room and makes a crackling sound
