The neighbor has a bee hive. The bees keep to themselves and do bee stuff in the local flowers however for those with allergies we want to let you know

Fur Babies
As fur baby lovers ourselves, the enjoyment and safety of your treasured family member whilst on holidays is of the upmost importance to us.
We do allow your fur baby inside, as we believe they like to 'hang' with you, as much as you do with them!
We prefer that dogs don't go on the furniture, however we understand that some dogs are very accustomed to 'couch time'.
If the finer things in life are more their style, we ask that you use the dog blankets provided.
We really appreciate guests who bring their own dog towels and throws to protect our furniture, as it saves us a lot of time spent washing linen. It also helps preserve our furniture and keeps it clean for future guests.
If you must sleep with your dog you MUST bring your own linen and tell us in advance.
Yards much be checked and cleaned daily for Puppy Poo's and double check the yards to be cleaned at the time of checkout

We are accepting of well behaved children aged 6yo+ (as we feel the small inside steps between new and old sections of the duplex, along with no child safety installed on furniture electrical or cupboards it is a little unsafe for those any younger). Children would l be required to share a Queen bed.
(Please see the House Rules for further expectations, regarding traveling to our beach house with children).

Sorry - smokers are not permitted at our property.
Strictly No Smoking anywhere!

We are in a area the on occasion has sand flies and Midge's so please be mindful of time you go outside if these types of bugs like myself find you tasty.

Parking - Off street - uncovered - however there is a covered carport at the back of the property that you are welcome to use. We do ask that in the case of a storm you share this area with our valued guests next door should they also need to shelter their car.

COVID CANCELATION POLICY
Again thank you for your interest in our beach home
As you are no doubt aware, small businesses have been significantly impacted over the past 18mths, as a result of Covid restrictions.
Like many other Australians, Airbnb hosts have incurred significant financial losses as a result.
Consequently, we are currently not accepting bookings from interstate guests who may be subjected to snap lockdowns and border closures in the present climate.
We will gratefully accept bookings from Qld guests and in the event of local Covid lockdowns, we will do our best to move the impacted guests to another date - or offer a refund where possible.
In these incredibly unprecedented and difficult times, Airbnb hosts are working hard to continue to provided ‘homes away from home’, so that guests can travel, as desired.
As small businesses though, we must do what we can to minimize future potential losses …at least in the interim
Thank you so much for your understanding.

Beautifully and comfortably presented pet friendly unit a short walk from the beach. Making your stay as enjoyable as possible is evidently top priority for the owners. You and your furry friend(s) will feel warmly welcomed.

Wonderful Restful Stay
This home has a wonderful beach vibe. The king size bed was sooo comfy & the beach collection throughout the home was great. Being able to have our dogs joining us inside was fantastic. Definitely will return if we're up that way again.

COMFORTABLE AND PET FRIENDLY
Everything as listed. Aging but clean and comfortable and every effort made to accommodate guests and pets if travelling with you. Quite location but a good base to visit close by busier towns.

Why they chose this property

With Mark been a builder and avid waterskier we found this little gem when on a watersking trip
Sue fell in love with it and knew it needed to be rescued as it had fallen into disrepair
The gentleman that lives next door built it in the 1960's with his dad out of hand make blockes and loved watching us restore it and now guests loving it
A special place that is loved by many and for some takes them back to holidays with families in years gone by

What makes this property unique

Opposite the beach and park with the inlet awesome for swimming
