Great house, Great vistas!
We arrived to the house on a cold-ish rainy evening, and were so pleased with the house! It was the perfect spot for my husband and me to relax and enjoy the beautiful vistas! The lovely decor and hot tub were amazing, too! We are in our 70’s, so really loved having everything we needed on the main floor.

Extraordinary Place
The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Located high up on a mountain with an unobstructed view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Minutes from Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain. Perfect for anything you want to do in the mountains. We sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the amazing view. The inside of the cabin is amazing as well. Brand new, very clean, perfect set-up with master on the first floor. Spacious and modern with the cabin look and feel.

Disappointed
I was extremely disappointed in this rental. When we arrived at the home, the driveway had been significantly washed away and only our four wheel drive forerunner could safely drive through the ruts in the gravel. The other four wheel drive car could not access the home. When we reached out to the manager we were told that the road had washed out the day before and there was no time to warn us or repair the road. When we entered the home we found the dryer and dishwasher were broken (again the manager knew but did not warn us). There were exactly 6 towels left for the entire house to use. While the manager was less than receptive with the first round of calls, she did schedule for additional gravel and equipment repair on the second day of our visit, but the work took place over the course of the entire day. We should have been warned that only truck sized four wheel drives could access the home and that there were several broken appliances. Had we known of the challenges in this home we would have cancelled our reservation. Our first two days were filled with frustration and inconvenience which I hate because the setting of the home is beautiful.
