Ruined vacation

This establishment does not include all their rules when you are booking, you only find out after when it is too late and you can not cancel at that point. There is NO indication when booking that you are limited to 20 kw per day and there is NO indication that you may not have guest over after 10 pm. I understand and appreciate that this is for our security, but I was bringing my boyfriend that arrived later to playa del Carmen, because my reservation was for 2 people but I had an appartment that fit 4 people the manager refused to help. The management has NO sense of customer service, they do not understand the frustration of their clients and have no idea how to communicate or find an alternative. The security was REALLY rude and yelled at my guest one day because he talked back to him. It was only 3 pm and he was yelling at my guest he did not want to let him in. Also the first night when I brought my boyfriend because he arrived at 2am and had no other place to go the security guard shut my electricity. I will NEVER ever give my money to such an establishment, they ruined our vacation. I do have to say that the employees at the front desk Mario, Anthony and Fernando were very nice and tried their best but they could not do anything because their manager Ofelia did like us and she refused to help. It really is to bad for this establishment to treat their guests in such a way.

The first room we stayed in was amazing, had clean towels and everything needed. The second room was terrible with no working toilet or shower, it took a day to fix it. The towels were also smelly, took a day to change. Once it was changed everything was great, but unfortunately there was no compensation for the 24 hours we lost due to not having a proper shower or a working toilet. (The only reason it was fixed eventually was after fighting with the reception the whole evening). The reception is very very very slow. But overall the building was great, with a pool, jaccuzi(you need a reservation, but its very easy to make and free most of the time), there was also a gym and a business room. Location is great, 5 min walk from the 5th avenue. Theres a big grocery 2 min walk, and many restaurants and food trucks near by.

Modern, clean, perfect!

Modern, comfortable, extremely clean apartment-style hotel rooms. Very friendly staff, walk to supermarket and food. Electricity is metred so don't be wasteful and leave your A/C on all day while at the beach or you will pay. I love this setup - encourages conservation of energy. Balconies are spacious and really nice.

Charging for electricity ? WHAT !

property was nice and well maintained but was thrown for loop right at check in that they charge for electricity. WHAT? never heard of this before. They show you a picture of the meter which i wanted to see for myself and low and behold 2 different readings. Also, pictures of pool make it look much better than it is. Will not return.

Check in was seamless, Large Main room with kitchen and large bedroom,. very convenient location. Walk to ADO Alternate Station. 10 minute walk to 5th Ave. 1 Block away from Mega Superstore. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked the penthouse suite with 1 king and 2 doubles. They gave us our keys and it was only 1 bed upstairs and not 2, which we needed. I spent a good amount of time explaining and showing them my reservation with 3 beds total. They said they had none, asked to talk to manager and after some time, there was a room with 3 beds! Watch for that when you check in. Otherwise great location, close to the Mega and 5th ave. Nice pool and bar on the roof.

Communication is a an issue. Most of the staff didn’t speak or understand English so had a hard time to ask them to come fix the toilet issue we were having. But overall its a great location and beautiful condos.

Excellent modern condo well located

King one bedroom suite was very modern and spacious. The building is well located only a few minutes walk from 5th Avenue and the beach. Mega is just around the corner for all your shopping and grocery needs. The building is very well maintained and cleaning staff was excellent. Roof top pool was nice and there is a very nice small roof top bar as well.

The condo is in a building in which every condo is individually. The condos themselves are very comfortable and good value for money, however each one is managed by a different person and the people at the front desk don't seem to be interested in resolving any issues that arise. That is the job of the condo administrator who is not always there. Cleaning seems to be organized on a condo by condo basis and sometimes it is done and sometimes not. It is suggested that one agency should manage the entire building. The location is great and is close to several super markets,shopping centres, restaurants and the beach and also 5th Avenue the entertainment strip that runs parallel to the beach. .

Quiet plce far enought of the tourist crowd.

Friendly staff and nice little bar on top of the building with a nice view. The barman give us good advice for local places to eat. The building was brand new and very well maintained.
