Chipping Sodbury cottages

Beautiful house in a peaceful village. Parking wasn't a problem. Only a short walk to the Co-Op, where all our grocery needs were met. Kitchen very well equipped, and we felt quite at home. The local pub, the Rattlebone (spelling?) serves excellent food. One thing worth mentioning is that the floors upstairs in this very old house are uneven in places, and that, and the spiral staircases, might make it unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. I'm 76, and I coped, just about.

Lovely well thought out little cottage in nice quiet area on outskirts of Bath. But local buses close by that make access to the city really easy. Although is a bit of steeper walk back up to the cottage might be harder for some with walking difficulties. Or driving in easy enough. After busy day was nice just to relax in comfortable lounge, and if not up for cooking def recommend the local chippy (if you gluten free they do cater on a Monday and Tuesday too). We did not get to enjoy garden alas which is lovely private little area. Only small grumble was the shower which was bit problematic with water pressure, but hopefully something easily solved. We had a very relaxing time in the cottage. We were visiting a friend in Bath and it was a perfect location.It was very warm in the cottage but we used the wood burning stove too. It was lovely to have a short break.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage and it was an ideal place to go with a dog. The rooms were all very comfortable including a nice cozy living room. We struggled a little to find it in the dark but got there in the end.

Great stay in Owl cottage. It was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Lovely views from the cottage and a great location just outside Bath.

Perfect but washing machine not working . Or smart tv not connection. Normal tv worked but comfortable house . Beautiful countryside

This beautiful cottage is immaculately presented with quality fittings and excellent taste. The photos do not show just how big it really is. Fantastic bathroom and lovely modern kitchen. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, there's even bathrobes, a torch if you need to get up in the night, plastic food boxes for picnics, garlic press, egg whisk and rubber gloves. The welcome goodies of wine, freshly baked cake and eggs were especially appreciated. The sunny patio with its beautiful trellised plant trough was a delight to sit in when we returned from our excursions each day. There's a parasol if the sun gets too hot. The bed is huge and very comfortable and has plenty of electric sockets for hairdryer, fan etc. We loved the cosy cottagey feel to the lounge area and wood is provided if you want to have a fire in cooler weather. Lots of dvds, cds,books,information leaflets and playing cards to keep you entertained. The information book provided has everything you need to know about the cottage and the area. We found it very useful.We cannot fault a thing. We have already booked for next year. Thank you.
